The green trees blurred past me as I ran to find safety. I dodged sticks and jumped over logs running away from the danger that was a couple feet away.
My legs were starting to hurt as I pushed myself to go faster. I took deep breaths struggling to get air in my lungs, my heart was beating so fast I thought it might just stop.

They were shooting at me. I swerved to the right to dodge the bullets and pushed myself to run a little faster. Man if I was in track and field I would win every race.
I ran and saw an upcoming ledge, I'll jump off it and hide behind a tree they'll never know where I went. I ran towards that ledge before stopping abruptly. It wasn't a ledge it was basically a cliff, no sane person would jump off this without the proper equipment.
I tried to come up with an idea but I had wasted enough time already. If I kept running the other way they would catch up since I stopped for so long. If I jumped I could die but it's not guaranteed. I worked on controlling my breathing while I thought.
Even if I did jump my shoes probably left marks on the damp dirt. They would know that I jumped.

Shots were fired from behind me. I took a deep breath before jumping off the cliff. I tried my best not to scream as I rolled down. Little sticks and pebbles were hitting me as I fell down the cliff. I was for sure going to have bruises.
Soon, I came to an abrupt stop. I had hit something hard, rolling over I came to face denim pants. They're here for me!
I squeezed my eyes shut and waited for death to come.
"Little girl I suggest you get you behind up and out of my property", A deep voice with hints of a southern accent commanded.

"Huff......huff", It was just a dream, but it felt so real. I shot up out of my bed and made my way to the bathroom.
I held onto the sink as I splashed water onto my face. I was hot and sweaty and in desperate need of a shower. I peeled off my clothes and started the water.
*After Shower*
"ugh... what to wear......what to wear", I murmured to myself. Something comfy and casual.

I chose this outfit and headed for the door not wanting to be late again. The sun shined brightly on my face as I walked on the pavement.
"Should've brought sunglasses", I stated.

I turned on instinct to the noise of the car and saw a familiar face that brought a smile onto my face.
"Victoria", I shouted running towards the car.
"Hey, wanna ride", she asked.
"Yes, please", Something about this women made me feel safe. I really liked her.
"Don't forget about meee", Dante whined.
"Hello to you too", I chuckled.
"So, why do you go to school", Dante questioned.
"Because I'm still a kid who needs to learn things", I said in a duh tone.
"But you're like rich", He told me.
"I'm very aware of that, but education is important. It's very hard to get places without the proper education, did you not go to college and finish high school and Elementary", I told him.
"I mean yeah but that's different I wasn't as rich as you back then", He stated.
"Well, that sounds like a you problem to me", I sassed.
"You annoying piece o-",
"WE'RE here", Victoria announced loudly.
"Thanks for the ride", I said before getting out the car and walking into the dreaded school building. Parts of me wanted to get back in the car and be with them some more so I didn't have to go home at the end of the day and be lonely, but I couldn't.
