Chapter 23

"Where were you?", Victoria asked. We had all moved to the dining room table to sit, except Teagan he dipped. 

"Um... I went to go see Teagan and Walter", I told them. Atlas sat on the right side of me and Matteo on the left. Dante was in front of me and to the sides of him was Alex and Victoria.

"And you didn't think to tell us, oh I'm going for a walk, you didn't leave a note, a text anything, just an empty bed", Victoria said.

"Uh...sorry", 

"You should be, but anyways I have a question"

"What?", I asked.

"Do you know anyone by the name of Iven Wenet?", Victoria asked folding her hands.

I scratched my head, "Iven Wenet...uh no I don't think I know someone with that name".

"Well, apparently he was the guy that's sending these people here to try and kill you", She told me. 

Well shit.

"I got you something to help keep you protected", Alex said, Alex giving me a present I would have never thought we'd reach this level of friendship already.

"Oooooh, what did you get me", I asked leaning forward in anticipation. I swear if he got me a taser, I'm leaving. 

"I have to go get it", He said before leaving the table, he got his car keys then left. 

SO WHY DID YOU TELL ME ABOUT IT NOW, NOW I'M GOING TO BE THINKING ABOUT IT ALL DAY!

Dante grabbed my hand from under the table and started drawing random patterns on it. I was confused, what the hell was he doing?

...it tickles

He flicked my hand.

"What".

He started drawing on my hand again, was he trying to tell me something by writing on my hand because if so, he should know I'm dumb.

he did the same pattern again.

I stared blankly at him.

...I have no fucking clue what he wrote. 

He stared at me for a couple of seconds, "Oh my god, I give up", He said.

"...anyways can I leave", I asked no one in particular. Victoria looked up at me from her phone, and said, "We have to take you clothes shopping soon".

"No need, I already did a bunch of online shopping last week, it should be arriving at my apartment soon".

"ok saves us time...but yes you can leave", She said. 

this was the filler chapter that's why it is so short
