Be Mine

Both of them made their way towards the beach, it was empty during the night, as usual. They were silent, walking along the shore without a word spoken. Only the waves and the wind are making the sounds, Shinobu kept looking down. "I didn't expect you to be the silent one today," Tomioka spoke. Shinobu looked ahead but not at him. "Yeah... It's unusual no?" She asked as she kicked a bunch of sand. They are walking along the edge where the water reaches their feet. "Yeah..." was all he replied with. This went on for another few minutes of silence until Shinobu looked up. "The moon is as beautiful as ever," she muttered but Tomioka heard it. Looking up as well, he hummed in response. "It always reminds me of that girl..." He muttered and Shinobu heard it. "You always mention her when we're alone, how come? Is she someone you like?" She asked, feeling a tinge of regret asking the second question. Tomioka looked down and shrugged. "Maybe... I just don't know where she is now..." He replied and kicked some sand as well.

Shinobu sighed and rubbed her arms up and down, being in a bikini amidst this chilly breeze isn't a good thing. "Well why don't you try looking for her?" She asked and walked a few steps ahead of him. Turning around and looked at him now as she was walking backwards. Tomioka looked away and scratched the back of his neck. "I don't really feel the need to now," he replied. "She is close by," he added. Shinobu looked down and then turned around to face front. "Oh well, hey look!" She exclaimed and ran up ahead. Tomioka watched in question as she ran head but stopped and bent down to pick up something. "What is it?" Tomioka asked as he peeked over her shoulder. Shinobu stood back up and turned to face him. In her hand was a beautiful and glistening blue shell under the moon. "It's pretty isn't it?" Shinobu asked. "Yeah it is," he agreed.

Shinobu held it and stared at the shell in her hand. "I wonder why nobody found this during the day," Shinobu muttered. "Perhaps it was buried too deep?" Tomioka suggested. "It also looks pretty, it's shining brightly, I don't see how it could be ignored," Shinobu says. Tomioka shrugged then turned to face the sea. Shinobu followed and stared at the sea as well, silence engulfed the atmosphere yet again. The wind blew making Shinobu shiver and she rubbed her arms up and down once more. "It's pretty chilly tonight, huh?" She asked with a nervous laugh. Tomioka stared at her while Shinobu stared ahead at the sea, trying to ignore his gaze. Swiftly and silently, he was behind her and he wrapped his arms around her.

"You could just admit that you're feeling cold you know," he stated. Shinobu felt her heart race again as she blushed pink. His bare chest was touching her back and his arms were wrapped around her waist. He was warm, really warm. Shinobu felt like she was in heaven due to his warm body, compared to hers where she easily feels cold. Shinobu shook her head and snapped out of her thoughts. "Tomioka-san, let go please," she asked but Tomioka only held on tighter. "You're freaking cold you little insect," he retorted and maintained his position. Shinobu sighed and looked at the sea again, trying to ignore the loud thumping inside. Tomioka moved his arms up to hug her shoulders and her arms were cold but not too cold. Shinobu blushed a darker pink and slowly hugged his arms back. She felt calm while being hugged by him, it made her feel happy. The warmth she is feeling is different from the warmth she gets from her sisters. Tomioka then stayed silent as he moved his arms back to her waist and watched the sea from behind her. She was shorter than him so he had no problem.

"Tomioka-san... Are you normally like this?" Shinobu asked as she looked down. "What do you mean?" He asked and stared at her. "I mean... You somewhat change your attitude towards me... When we're alone," she replied. Tomioka got the idea and hummed. "I don't know... But... You just feel familiar," he replied and rested his chin on her shoulder. Shinobu sighed. Tomioka also made her feel like she met him somewhere, long ago. He gave off a familiar aura when he becomes cheery and childish around her. "Shinobu... Your scent is so tempting..." He muttered lowly since he was close to her ear. Shinobu blushed when she felt his warm breath touch her cold ears. "W-what are you saying Tomioka-san? Haha," Shinobu stated with a nervous laugh. "I don't know... You are really tempting..." He growled as he held her tighter and closer. Shinobu's heart is on adrenaline at how close she is to him. Not to mention she was never this close to a man before, and most likely not half-naked!
