The Makeup

It had been a couple of weeks by this point. Shoto had pretty much excelled in the class, from quirk training to normal training to just the class and homework. He was quickly proving himself a worthy student to be at UA. He didn't care though. He hadn't talk to her for a few days. They had gotten in a fight and he knew it was his fault but he didn't know how to go about. He didn't mean to be so rude to her but had had it coming honestly.
Momo had been avoiding him since the fight. Whenever she had to be paired up with him she wouldn't talk to him unless she had to. Technically what he had said had been true. But he didn't need to be so rude about it. Yes she was spoiled and yes she had expected him to spoil her as well. It wasn't that she really wanted him to it's just how everyone had been with her by now.
Shoto looked at his fiancé from his seat and gave a silent sigh. He'd been working on what he should say to her. He didn't like her ignoring him. It pissed him off. When he heard the bells ring signally it was lunch he was more the grateful to be able to talk to her.
He walked up to her desk as everyone else left the class. She pretended he wasn't there, or at least tried to. "Why are you trying to talk to such a spoiled brat who expects everything?" Her voice was slightly bitter but by this point she really wasn't that angry anymore. She wanted to see how he'd answer. In a way she was being expectant again. She wanted him to say sorry. She wanted him to say he was in the wrong even if it was true. She knew if he apologized she would too and she knew she wanted to. But she wanted him to first.
Momo packed her things into her bag as the silence stayed. She actually had assumed Shoto had just left until she heard his monotone voice. "I shouldn't have called you that. Your not spoiled or expectant. I apologize Momo." His voice was soft and held truth. Momo stared at her bag for a moment. She wanted to tell him how she felt. She wanted him to know he wasn't wrong. "Actually...Shoto I'm sorry. You were right. I'm sorry I've been ignoring you and avoiding you." Her voice held sorrow and he detected it.
He stepped closer and pulled her into a hug. The only real touch either had felt with each other this whole time. Yes they had held hands and kissed but besides that neither had really tried to touch the other. And in this moment, as they hugged each other, neither knew why.
They both pulled away from the hug and grabbed their bags. She slipped her hand into his and smiled as they walked towards the cafeteria.
