Marli had amnesia. "Perfect. Just perfect." I muttered to myself.

"A-Are you Amber?" She asked. I stared at her blankly. "I think... I remember you..."

A tear had escaped from my eye at that moment. Marli had forgotten everything she had ever known, and she remembered me of all people.

I sat down beside her and hugged her while I began to cry. "Marli, do you remember Tyler?"

"Is he the one you were supposed to tell me about today?" She rubbed her eyes cutely.

I nodded. "He is... I was supposed to tell you, Minzy, and Josh why he had fainted last week." Another tear fell.

"I remember, he told me that he likes you," said Marli. "And I remember, you made him wake up. That happened not too long ago... Right?" She looked up at me.

"Yeah. He had fainted. I was supposed to tell you why-wait, he what?" I was surprised. Did Marli just tell me that Tyler likes me?

"Tyler... Likes you?" She told me again, but she was unsure if that was what I was referring to.

I blushed madly. But, I like Josh, don't I? I don't like Tyler like that... Or do I?

"And you like him," she smiled devilishly. "Don't you, Amber?"

My face grew even more red, if that was possible.

Marli giggled. "I knew it," she looked at the clock on the small table beside her infirmary bed. It read 9:40pm. "Amber, leave." Said Marli. I looked at her, surprised at her tone. "Lights out in five minutes. I'll be in class tomorrow, maybe a little late, but I'll be there, okay?" She poked my cheek like her friend, Hope, does when she sees me.

"Okay," I smiled. "Marli, I'm glad you're okay."

With a wave, I walked out of the infirmary and headed toward my dorm. It was just Minzy and me, tonight.
