"Come on," said Minzy as she pulled on her uniform. "We'll be late to breakfast if we hang around to long."

Marli started to come through the door whe we heard a knock from the dorm next-door. We jumped. Then, we realized it was the code the boys were using to see if we were awake. I hurried over to the wall and tapped twice, paused, then tapped five more times. The boys could be heard laughing as their dorm door opened.

"Good morning, ladies," they said in unison as they stood in the doorway. Tyler and Josh both had idiotic smiles on their faces as if they were hiding something that was just too amusing to handle.

"Alright. What'd you do this time?" Marli rolled her eyes. The boys were famous for pulling pranks on us three girls. (Yes, even the stupidest of practical jokes. Well, they're boys aren't they?)

Josh blushed when I gave him a questioning look. He started to confess, but Tyler jabbed him the ribs with his boney elbow.

"Ow! Dude, what was that for?" Josh rubbed his aching side.

"Shut up! Don't tell them! They're not supposed to find out," Tyler whisper-shouted out of the side of his mouth.

"Not supposed to find out what, Tyler?" Minzy tried her luck in prodding a confession out of either of the two.

"Um, that we're-uh... Escorting you to breakfast?" tried Tyler. He had thought of an excuse to hide the prank they had yet to see be set off.

"Oh! Well how thoughtful of you two gentlemen!" I acted innocent. I knew exactly what they were going to do. I also knew that Marli had helped the set it up, and that the prank was meant for me.

Immediately, when they held out their hands, I noticed honey on their finger-tips. It was also dripping off of the handles of my dresser drawers, so that when I got dressed, my hand would get coated in sticky, oozing honey.

Marli was Minzy and me's other room-mate. She let Josh and Tyler in last night around 11:00pm, and I knew because I was awake. I pretended that I was completely knocked out, however, I still managed to watch them in action.

I noticed that Josh didn't really do much of the work, it was mostly Tyler. Josh mostly stood by the wall watching Tyler, and looking at Minzy and me nervously, hoping we woudn't wake up. He got bored quickly and walked over to my bedside table. He found my diary sitting under my jewelry box.

I held my breath. I had written down my feelings for Josh in there. I didn't want him to know. At least, not yet.

He picked it up and stared at it for a while. Then, he set it down-to my surprise-and looked at me, hoping I wouldn't "wake up".

I decided to scare the two boys out before Minzy woke up screaming again. I rolled over on to my other side and moaned. I could hear them bothe gasp and run to the door.

I sat up in bed, acting half-asleep, and said groggily, "Marli? Is that you? If you need a drink of water I can get it for y-" I pretended to yawn. I rubbed my eyes.

"No. No, Amber. I'm fine. Thanks. Go back to sleep. I'll see you in the morning," she answered almost too quickly.

"Okay... Mm..." I layed back down in bed. The  two boys snuck as quietly as they could  out of our room.

I giggled silently to myself. Usually, I'm the first person to be ready in the mornings. I'm always dressed before the girls wake up. They all assume my uniformis in my dresser, like everyone else's, But it's always folded underneath my bed.

I give them an A for effort, but they're going to have to do better than that to get me.

                                                                        * * *

I laughed at the boys as they exchanged nervous looks.

"Nice try, boys. A little honey can't fool me. And MArli! It's not like you to help Tyler and Josh with this devious stuff," I smirked. I caught them red-handed.

They looked shocked. "What?! But how did y-"

"Shh! It's a secret! You're not supposed to find out!" I whisper- yelled, imitating Tyler. I grinned from ear to ear, watching the three pranksters try to figure out how I knew.

They were so confused, that they decided to give up and take Minzy and me to breakfast.

Victory was sweet. Just like the waffles we were treated to.

Hi! Sorry, this one is a little longer... I need my friend Miki to write a book for my STEPPING series. She'll write it from Minzy's POV so you'll get each character's story...

Hope it's a good idea!

My friend Yami is getting Josh, and Ty to write books from Josh and Tyler's POV's. Yami-Chan will write one from Marli's POV.

Hope you guys like it so far! It DOES get more interesting, just bear with me here.
