FOUR DAYS PASSED
by before Tsukishima and Miyamoto met up again. The pair decided that they would meet up after school whenever the older boy did not have volleyball practice, which was only once or twice a week. He made it clear that wekends were strictly off limits for him. Kei was not keen on the idea of having to give up his free days to talk to her.So there they sat, this time at her classrom- since his was being occupied by a club, in a comfortable silence.
She opened up a box of matcha pocky and he cringed at the sight.
"Do you eat anything other than matcha flavored snacks?"
Ena took a box of strawberry flavored pocky and passed it to him, having intentionally brought it for the tall blond. It was a small detail, but it did not go unoticed by the third year.
Tsukishima sighed in distaste before leaning back into the chair in front of her desk, which was faced towards her.
"Whenever you're ready."
The blond rolled his eyes, taking a bite out of the strawberry-flavored biscuit stick.
"You're not my psychologist," he commented, looking away.
"If I was we wouldn't be here in the first place, Tsukishima-san," she replied politely, munching on her snack as well.
The boy threw her a glare before checking his cellphone which had vibrated in his pocket a few moments back.
Tsukishima stood up, grabbing his bag.
"Miyamoto-san, my mom wants me home," he told her, having read the text of his mother who wanted him home soon.
"Oh," Ena replied disappointedly, a bit upset that the only free time she had with him would be coming to an end so shortly after it had begun. Time was limited, she only had two months to prove him wrong and at this rate- she would fail. "Bye then."
Tsukishima's face softened a bit at her pouty face. It was bothersome, that much was true, but he knew they had made a deal fair and square.
"Don't look so pitiful, I'm taking you home since by the time you get there it'll be late."
Miyamoto blushed, clutching her heart dramatically.
"Aw, it's so cute you worry for me, Tsukishima-senpai."
He rolled his hazel brown eyes a second time before flicking her forehead, irritated by her assumption.
"That's not it, I could care less if you got but on, but we decided on today so today it will be."
Ena pouted again, following after him to the entrance where they switched their shoes out.
Tsukki chuckled at her face and pulled at her long light brown hair teasingly.
