Amber tucked a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear.  "Oh, that one!" Helaine pointed.

"187 Duo Brush!" The saleswoman said softly. "Goat fiber."

Jodi leaned into Harper's ear. "Did you have to bring mom along?" Harper shrugged. "Fixing you two is a two person job."

Amber groaned. "You're fixing me?" Harper nods. "Yep! We will talk later about this, though!" Amber groaned.

The saleswoman turned to Harper.  "You were awesome on Good Morning New Orleans!"

"Focus!" Harper snapped, making the saleswoman nod. "Okay."

Amber had tried on loads of outfits, and of course, they were all perfect on her. There was one item in the gross pile. It was a blue suit and there was no way Amber would wear it.

There was 27 dresses  13 tank tops, 13 skirts, 15 packs of tights, 16 jackets, 20 pairs of purple leather suits, 15 ripped jeans and 15 striped, vintage tops.

They were currently in the hair salon. One lady was working on Jodi's hair while one was working on Amber.

The two chairs for the two girls were by each other, and Amber wanted a change.

"What colour did you say you wanted to go, sweetheart?" The woman working on her hair, who's name was Joanne, asked.

"Purple." Amber sat up straight, as she started to dye her hair. "And when you're done can you cut me bangs?"

Joanne smiled and nodded. "Of course!"

"Jodi what do you think?" Helaine asked her daughter. "So you're telling me that lip gloss and lip glass are two different things?"

Amber snorted in amusement. "Stop stressing, little sister." Harper exclaimed to her sister.

"Tomorrow we're gonna bring that little Swedish boy to his knees." Harper stated, making Amber shake her head.

"Not so sure about that." Jodi chuckled a little. "Jodi!" Harper yelled in her ear. "Listen to me, okay? If I had that kind of attitude, I don't think I ever would've gotten that job with the Hilton Corporation."

Jodi turned to Harper. "You have an unpaid internship at the Residence Inn." Harper laughed, making Amber laugh. "Silly." Harper mumbled through a smile.

Amber sat on Harper's bed. "Why did I have to come?" Harper admired the girls brand new hair.

"Because, Amie. I know you like Jack." Harper deadpanned, making the girl's eyes widen.

"And I know you're only dating Mason to get over your feelings for Jack. Is it working?" Harper asked, pulling the purple haired into a hug.

"I guess so. I think I'm starting to like Mason, Harp. He's just so sweet, caring and handsome!" Amber threw herself backwards onto the bed.

"Just, don't get yourself too attached, okay? Just like Fareeda is all for Jack and Jodi, I'm all for you and Jack. I don't want you to get hurt, Amie." Harper smiled sadly.

Amber smiled back, reaching for her hand. "I can handle myself,"

Amber headed down the stairs, ready to make herself a drink, when she heard a groan coming from Jodi. She turned to her Jodi and ran towards her.

"Hey, want to tell me what happened?" Amber stroked her hair.

"Kimmy and Schnipper prank called me, pretended to be Stig, asked me to the homecoming and I said yes. And now I'm feeling ashamed! There is no way I'd be able to face them tomorrow at school!"
