Amber stood outside the school with Harper, Fareeda, Stig and Jodi. She had just taken her hair out and let it flow freely behind her.

"There is no way you're going to run it in heels." Harper stated and Amber crossed her arms. "Watch me." She smirked, taking off in a sprint.

As she ran, she could feel the eyes of people watching her. Harper, Jodi, Stig and Fareeda wanted to see if she could run it in heels.

It was a long run after all.

Her long, purple hair was whacking her back and going all over the place as she ran.

Her dress was moving up her leg everytime she took a step. Though it stayed down.

The chilly air was hitting her arms but in that moment, she couldn't care. All she wanted to do, in that moment, was confess her love to Jack Dunkleman.

The purple haired girl had ran with heels, all the way to Jack's house. The second she got there, he was already outside.

Like, maybe he was expecting someone. Jack glanced at her shoes before making eye contact.

"Did you seriously run all the way from the high school to my house?" Amber nodded, letting out a sigh.

"Yes. And I'm never doing that again." She mumbled taking of the heels.

Jack helped her, seeing her struggle with them. She smiled at him. "Thanks."

He just smiled in response. "You were great out there." He told her softly. Amber smiled. "Thank you, J."

He looked at the ground and Amber looked at the sky. It was silent, but not awkward.

"Just kiss already." Harper mumbled, with her camera at the ready.

Jodi, Stig and Fareeda all sat around her, hiding in the bush. "They're not talking? They're staring into space? What does that mean?" Stig wondered.

"They're thinking." The three girls respond, before Jack and Amber start speaking again.

"What are you thinking about?" They asked simultaneously, before letting out a chuckle.

"You first." Jack smiled and Amber's cheeks turned pink. "Well, I'm thinking about two things. First one is you, second one, why do you carry around the milk crate?"

Jack chuckled. He ran inside and got the milk crate. He put it on the floor. "You know how you've always wanted to be tall, like Jodi?"

Amber giggled and nodded. "Yeah." Jack pulled her onto it with him.

"There, you're as tall as Jodi." He smiled and Amber couldn't help but smile back.

"Cute."

Amber made eye contact with Jack. "What were you thinking about?" This time, his cheeks went pink.

"You." He responded, making them both blush even harder. "And this."

He leaned in and connected their lips. Amber acted quickly and cupped his cheeks. He held onto her waist and pulled her closer while Harper snapped more than one picture of it.

"I've wanted to do that since, like, forever." Jack mumbled. Amber smiled at Jack before cupping his cheeks again.

And they reconnected their lips. As they kissed each other, they realised one thing, they didn't care that they were sixteen. They knew that they were going to be together, forever.
