Amber sucked in a breath seeing Emily and Mason sat on the table with them. "Uh, no, that's fine. We're just gonna--"

Emily cut Jack off. "Amber, you're apart of the popular group. This is your table." She said in a soft voice. It almost sounded fake.

"You're both coming over here. Come on." Stig waved them over and Amber growled. Reluctantly, the two made their way to their table.

"Okay." They both mumble, missing the heartbroken looks on Jodi's and Fareeda's face.

"This is my roommate. This is Dunkers." Stig introduced Jack. "Yeah, uh, well, my name's Dunkleman. And I feel like I'm more of a landlord than a roommate, so..."

Kimmy and Stig laugh. "Landlord! You're so funny. I'm pretty sure you all know Amber. Dunker's... girlfriend?" Stig questioned and the two bestfriends take a step away from each other.

"No." Amber rolls her eyes, taking the seat next to Mason, missing his hand that was placed on Emily's thigh.

Jack took the seat next to her but also by Stig. "Dunkers is actually very funny. He does these impressions of people."

Jack looks at Stig confusedly and Amber snorts. She coughed after it, clutching her stomach.

"What, impressions?" Jack questioned, sending Amber a look of worry. "I don't think--"

"The chef one." Stig cut Jack off. "Gordon Ramsay." Amber held in a chuckle. "I don't do--"

Amber decides to tease him. "Show us it." She smirked at him, making him glare. "Yeah!" Liz agreed. "Let's see it."

Before Jack could do his impression, Amber had left the cafeteria in a hurry with her hand over her mouth. She rushed to the restroom and made it in time.

She leaned over the toilet and threw up. The bad thing about it was that no one followed her when it was clear that everyone had watched her leave.

Amber watched Liz leave Jack and then walked up to him. "What was that all about?" She ruffled his hair. He just shrugged. "Nothing."

Jodi walked up to them. "So, what, am I not cool enough for you to sit and have lunch with anymore?" She asked the pair.

Amber's eyebrows furrowed. "No, we were just, um... Stig asked us to sit by him for lunch and we didn't want to be rude." Jack told Jodi, Amber nodding along.

"Did he say anything to either of you about me recently?" Jodi asked the two bestfriends, who instantly look at each other.

"Like what?" Jack and Amber questioned in sync. "I don't know. He just avoided me all day today, and I thought we had fun last night."

Amber crossed her arms. "Have fun sucking eachothers faces when Stig has a girlfriend who will beat your ass?" She thought to herself.

"I bet you did." Jack mumbled as the two turned the other way. "Excuse me?" Jodi questioned him.

"What? Nothing!" Jack exclaimed, pedalling away as Amber walked in the speed of his bike.

"He did say something. What did he say?" Jodi questioned them both. "I don't know!" Amber and Jack told her.

"Excuse me, I'm talking to the both of you!" Jodi ran to catch up with them. "What did he tell you?"

Jack groaned. "Well, he said you guys kissed, okay?"

Amber nodding along. "He what?" Jodi asked, he jaw dropped. "You're going after a taken man, Jodi." Jack informed her, making Amber get out her phone and pull up Kimmy's contact.

"She will not be happy when she finds out." Amber exclaimed, typing a message to Kimmy.

"There's plenty of other guys out there, available ones." Jack pointed to himself making Amber stiffen up.

"Just tell me what he said!"

Amber took in a deep breath, her legs killing her. "He said he didn't know who he liked more, you or Kimmy." Jack admitted, and Amber almost went to touch his shoulder.

"He said that? Then what'd you say?" Jodi stuttered. "I merely implied that, you know, be should focus of the relationship he's already in, with Kimmy."

Jodi's jaw dropped at Jack's words. "Oh, so you're looking out for Kimmy now? I thought you're both supposed to by my friends."

Amber stayed quiet. "I am your friend!" Jack exclaimed. "But if you can't have me, nobody can, isn't that the idea?"

Amber scoffed with a shake of the head. Not everything is about her. "Jodi, don't flatter yourself. I actually have a date with Liz to go to a gluten-free bakery."

Amber felt her heart break, though she didn't show it. She sucked in a breath and got rid of the tears in her eyes.

"Mm. The start of the beginning of no great love story ever." Jodi sounded jealous. Jealous that his attention wasn't on her any more.

"You may find this hard to believe, but we care about you. And I just want to make sure that you don't get hurt."

Amber looked ahead and saw Jack about to crash into a car. "Jack!" She exclaimed, but it was too late. Jack had gone rolling over the car.

"Ow!" He groaned, holding his shoulder. Amber let out a laugh and went and helped him up.

"Jodi, go ahead and go home. I'll help him." Amber muttered and Jodi nodded. Amber looked at Jack before smacking his arm.

"What was that for?" He hissed in pain. "Your talk with Liz wasn't nothing,"

The door opened and Stig let them both in. "What's happened to you?" Stig questioned the boy in pain.

"Biking's for losers." Jack told him, walking past Stig with Amber. "Hey, can I... can I talk to you?" Amber heard Jodi.

Amber rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure, come in." Amber grabbed Jack's hand. "Should of listened when I called your name." She joked, nudging his shoulder.

He hissed in pain. "Oh my god. You didn't land on that arm." Jack shrugged. "And? It was reflex."

Listening to their conversation, Amber shook her head at Jack. "He's using your advice."

Jack stood in thought. If Stig wasn't using Amber's then he wasn't going to either.
