Serafall POV

While the 3 faction leaders were at the meeting, Serafall was still watching Y/n sleep as she gently played with his hair. She hears a knock at the door and realizes she would be running late if she doesn't take off soon.

Serafall: "I'll be right back"

She gave him a small peck on the forehead as she took off.

Y/n POV

I was peacefully sleeping for once when I heard a large explosion. I jump up to my feet as I look around and see nobody. I can see and sense the atmosphere around me different. Everything had a dark hue as I made my way through the school. I walk through the hallway as I see a woman upside down.

??: "My, who might you be?"

I was not sure what to respond with.

Y/n: "You're.. floating?"

More of them started coming. They all looked at me.

??: "Looks like you are rather unfortunate to have been in this situation"

I knew where this was going and I took off.

??: "After him!!"

I ran as fast as I could in the opposite direction as they fire some sort of spears at me. I dodge them as they come before shutting myself in a room. That doesn't seem to stop them as they faze through the walls as if they were ghosts. I make a run towards the window and jump through it. I see it was a long way down as I brace myself for the fall. I land on my side and feel multiple bones break. I get up as the sound of bones cracking signals me that my body is fixing itself again. I rush trying to get away when I hear another explosion. My instincts tell me to stay away but my curiosity got the best of me and I ended up heading towards it. I peek over a wall and see a tanned lady in the middle of the explosion, unharmed. I notice Serafall in the middle of a barrier looking thing. I try not to think much of it but I end up sprinting towards her. Her eyes meet mine as she notices me.

Serafall: "Get out of here!! It's too dangerous"

The lady looks at me and smiles.

??: "Well, what do we have here~"

Serafall: "Let me out of here!! I need to help him!!"

??: "Serafall, you can't be so reckless. We are still being bombarded by the others"

She looked at me worried.

Serafall: "Get out of here!!"

It was too late the lady had me cornered. I was backed up like a dog would be by animal control. I didn't know what to do. My legs were shaking and wouldn't move. I felt a pain in my chest as the feeling of fear began to take over my body.. yet, another emotion began to boil inside me.

Serafall: "Y/n!!! Katerea just let him leave please!!"

Serafall begged as she collapsed to the ground.

??: "The barrier isn't holding up. Serafall, get it together!!"

Katerea: "Hmm? It seems Serafall is rather fond of you. Let me guess, the future Mr. Leviathan? Let's see what little Miss Leviathan thinks about this"

She uses a blast that tears a whole through my chest.

Serafall: "Noooo!!!"

I'm sent to the ground. I felt pain. I didn't want to feel it anymore.. I guess this is for the best. My vision started going black. I tried to die at last but something... something grabbed me. It pulled me back from the depths of the darkness... I then realized what it was.. HIS scream. HIS scream of hatred. Almost as if HE was telling me, "You can't die, you won't die.. rise armageddon to this world that rejected you.. take my power and show them how terrifying you really are. We. Are. Gojira" WE. ARE. SHIN. GOJIRA!!! I.. I didn't want to accept it.
