"Alright! What do ya say we play a little game to pass the time?" Evie smiled luminously as the two went further into the forest. "Let's do Twenty Questions!"
Michael resisted another blush as he took in her beautiful smile. But her small mention of the recreation befuddled him. "Twenty Questions?" He reiterated curiously.
Evie nodded brightly. "Tell me something you never told anyone before."
The black-haired teen almost resisted chuckling at what he assumed were the rules. "Is that suppose to be a question? Or a request?" He raised a brow at the innocent technicality. "Because it's called 'Twenty Questions'! Not Twenty Requests..."
Evie giggled at his silly face before reestablishing herself. "Will you tell me something you never told anyone before?" She amended.
Michael smiled softly at his blue-haired best friend-turned-sweetheart, still chuckling at where this innocent game was about to escalate towards,
"Why do you want to know more about me? I mean we already know so much about each other when we were best friends..."Evie faced her black-haired beau with a smile of her own. "Because why not? We know so much about each other when we were best friends." She took his hand into her own and stroked the peachy skin with the thumb of her other hand. "It couldn't hurt to go a little more deeper and tell each other things we never told the others about. You share with me and I'll share with you. Don't you think so?" She winked mischievously.
The black-haired teen felt like his own defenses to restrain his blushes were meant to fail as his cheeks started to feel more warm than before. Despite the apparent embarrassment... her simple request for fun sounded innocent. Not to mention heartwarming pure and childishly clean.
"Alright." Michael held his hands up in mock surrendering. "If you insist... my deviously beautiful blue-haired angel!" He grinned silly at his girlfriend.
Evie almost resisted the urge to burst out laughing at the frivolous nickname. Modest waves of giggles were all that came out until she calmed herself and interlaced her fingers with his once more. "Okay! I'll start! What's your favorite color?" She initiated with a soft beam on her face."Blue." Michael answered almost instantaneously. Seeing the sudden befuddlement in her beautiful eyes, the teen went to elaborate further. "It's the color of the clear sky... the crystal clear ocean..." He indicated to all their surroundings before looking at his girlfriend. "And you... especially your blue hair..." He smiled softly, taking a soft lock of the luxurious materiel and stroked the wave, fascinated by the silkiness.
Now it was Evie's turn to blush. She cooed at how he made her sound so charming before leaning in to kiss him on the cheek.
"Now it's my turn." Michael reminded. "What's your middle name?"
Evie almost winced as soon as the examination was taken heed. The blush on her face was more noticeable than before.Michael flinched as soon as he saw the recoil. Guilt started to bubble inside. He assumed he struck something personal. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean t-!"
But Evie shook her head and smiled reassuringly at her boyfriend. "No! Don't worry!" Still holding his hand, she stroked the skin with her thumb to soothe him. "You didn't offend me. It's just..." She looked down at the emerald grass sinking beneath their feet nervously. Her voice almost faded into a whisper. "It's Agatha..."
The male teen felt a little stunned and confused at the revelation. "Agatha? What's so bad about that?"
Evie snorted and raised a brow. "Really? Evelyn "Agatha" Grimhilde?"
But Michael still shook his head, looking unconvinced. "So? There's nothing wrong with your middle name. If anything... I think it fits you." He smiled softly.
