|Maddie|
It's been a couple seconds since I sent the text when I felt the phone buzz in my hand.
"Well they replied," I said opening it.
"That fast? What are they stalkers?" Patrick said.
Wait. They figured out my password? They must be part of some investigation group or something. My password was horrendously weird. I had set it to something I saw online as a joke but I never bordered to change it.
"Reply then!" Lily and Kaliya said. Their eyes filled with way too much excitement.

Me: Hey. Is this your number?
Unknown: Yeh. This is yours isn't it?
Was it mine?
Yes.
Was I gonna say it was?
No.
Me: No, it's my mom's boss's monkey's hookup's maid's brother's wife's number. Why do you ask?
"Your mom's boss has a monkey?" Patrick asked.
"Like you haven't met my mom, Patrick," I said rolling my eyes.
"How does a hook up have a maid?" Kaliya asked.
"Tinder?" Patrick suggested.
"Bumble," Lily said.
Unknown: Sarcastic. I see.
Me: Assuming. I see.
Unknown: Offensive. I see.
Excuse me?
"He's good at reading people," Patrick said snickering.
"Yeah. You are offensive," Lily said snickering with Patrick.
"I am not!" I retorted a scowl on my face.
Me: Assuming again. I see
Unknown: I see a lot of things too.
Me: So do I; I have eyes.
"Really? That's your best comeback?" Kaliya said.
"You try answering this Assuming shitheads remarks," I said pushing the phone to her.
"Nope. Not going to happen," Patrick said pushing it back to me.
Unknown: I have eyes too, Kitten. You aren't that special.
Kitten? Really?
"A nickname already? I can tell you guys are gonna get married," Lily said a huge smile on her face.
"That's the most outrageous prediction ever," I said.
"My grandma was a medium you know! I can sense the vibes," Lily said.
"Vibes? Don't you mean waves?" Patrick asked looking at Lily.
