The man's blunt voice echoes through the living room, I can feel the gloomy tone change the atmosphere as I stare at my feet, pretending to make my decision. Of course, I've already decided to go through with this, my baby has to have at least some sanity left, At least I hope he does...
The men look at me, obviously awaiting my response to their question. I look at them and nod slightly, I can feel the tears welling in my eyes as they stand up and say their final words before deciding to leave the room. " Thank You Mrs. Midoriya, we'll be sure to email you what time our first session is, if all things go well your son should show some explicit progress in around week 3."
I manage to get a weak "Thank you" out of my mouth, before the men start to head towards the door. Izuku runs in front of the two men, stopping them in their tracks before they could reach for the doorknob and cheerfully blurts out " Bye All Might! Bye Sir Nighteye!" before skipping back to his room pretending to hold someone's hand as he leaps into his bedroom and shuts the door quietly.
*Outside the apartment~
Both men look taken back as they walk through the doorway and exit onto the balcony, connecting to the stairs. They leave the small apartment discussing the weird behaviour that they just witnessed and what might help the boy in regaining his sanity or at least some of it so his mother could rest easy.
This kid is gonna be a handful.
