Clarissa took a deep breath before she called out the name. She couldn't live without him. It wouldn't be fair.
"Jonathan." She said and looked up at the angel. His features didn't change, she couldn't tell if he thought her choice was a good one or a bad one.
Close your eyes Clarissa Morgenstern, the Angel said.
You didn't not do what an Angel said, so Clarissa shut her eyes. She missed her brother, she needed a Parabatai and she couldn't live without him. She had a plan, and the plan involved a lot of different things but it was a plan non the less and it could bring Jace back.
"Clarissa." She heard faintly and her eyes snapped open to see her brother standing there, both hands, no stab wound yet his clothes were still torn and blood was covering his body. His hair was ruffled and messed up, his black eyes watching her closely.
"Jonathan." she breathed before throwing herself at him and wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him to her. He smelled of blood, water and metal. She breathed him in, her arms tightening around him.
"Your were dead." She said quietly as she stared off into the distance. They had to leave soon before the Shadowhunters came and found them. They would think the siblings killed both Valentine and Jace.
"I know. I was in the dark, everything was gone and I just knew I was dead. But not even death can stop a Morgenstern" Jonathan spoke with power. Clarissa nodded and untangled herself from him, dropping to the ground.
She slowly turned to see Jace's body, lying on the ground with a pool of blood around him. She closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"We need to take him" she said and looked up at Jonathan who gave her a dead look.
"No" was all he said and turned around as if to walk away.
"Jonathan, we're taking him" she called out but he kept walking. "Fine, I'll stay here then"
"Your a fool Clarissa." He said, turning around and walking backwards. "They'll just lock you up."
"Then help me take him" she said and they had a stare off for a few moments until Jonathan sighed and walked back, picking up one of Jace's arms. Clarissa smiled as she quickly ran down to the shore line, picking up the Mortal Instruments and putting them into her weapons belt before she ran back to her brother and picked up the other arm and they started to run. Run away from the lake. Run away from the Clave.
Run away from Idris.

HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHA!!!
That's right, she chose Jonathan!
That's for all you people who thought she was gonna choose Jace!
Okay, in other words.
I know, short chapter, practically the ending. I got an Epilogue but then I'm done for this book.
Horrible, right?
How can she get Jace in one epilogue? That fact is, she can't. And she won't.
But I will be writing a short story/second for this. Don't worry, it should be out soon. Calm your cheesecakes!
Christmas is coming up and I was wondering if you guys have done your Christmas shopping or even believe in christmas.
I do! And I love recovering presents cause I'm greedy-unless there not good. I'm done my Christmas shopping. Have you? No? Then go do it fool!
Alright, bye!
