Forever and always

Johnny POV
It's been 12 year since the best thing that has ever happened to me,left me. Kenzie was a very special person who could light up a room in the darkest times.

I remember when we met she was so quiet and fragile. Me being the complete opposite was strange for her. She was a nerdy girl who had one friends while I was a loud football player who was never alone

Flashback
"Just come. One party won't kill you" Hayden said trying to convince me to throw my innocence for a dumb party "for the last time I'm never going to a high school par-"

I was cut off by bumping into someone "sorry" a small voice said as she bent down to pick up all the art supplies she spilled and just my luck purple acrylic paint got all over my shoes

"I'm sooo sorry" she said turning a bright red looking like she was going to cry "it's whatever" I shrugged and she was just staring down "I can buy you new ones" she said frantically"I swear it's ok" I smiled but she quickly left

"Who was that" I asked "Mackenzie Ziegler. She's nice but super quiet. She's been here since sixth grade but never had any social interactions" Hayden said "she's pretty" I muttered

It turns out I have 4 classes so far with Mackenzie. She sits in the middle to the right in every class. I've seen her talk to 1 person which is Brynn Carson's girlfriend

As the bell rang for lunch she quickly packed her stuff up and walked calmly to the door. As she made it inside the lunchroom she went straight to the vending machine and bought a Gatorade and a bag of skittles

I bumped into s few people looking at her but they didn't mind. I lost her for the first 25 minutes of lunch. Our team took up 2 long tables which most only took up 1.

"I'll be back" Carson said as Brynn waved over to him them I saw Mackenzie doodling onto a canvas. Carson went over and sat next to Mackenzie and she didn't seem fazed

I couldn't tell what they were talking about but I knew he was giving her specific information since he wasn't eating Brynn's face off. About 5 minutes later he came back but with paper

"Random question what's your shoe size" Carson asked me "in what shoe" I asked "air forces and docs" he said and I gave him the numbers and he wrote them down

After school we were all going to Jacobs house and I guess he was staying with his cousin while his parents were out of town. When we pulled up it was a huge house

There was a car already there.he sighed as the door opened to a big which house that was fresh and looked way too clean for a human to be living in "do people even live in here" I asked

"My aunt thinks white will make the house look bigger" he explains as a girl comes from down the hall "hey Kenz" he said and my head turned to see a familiar brunette

"I would have left earlier if I would have known you had people over" she said quietly "it's fine. Where are you going" I asked "I need to buy something from the mall" she said before grabbing her jacket

"I didn't knew the nerd was your cousin" a guy said and everyone laughs besides her,Jacob and me "let me know when they are gone" she said avoiding eye contact with anyone

It was a few hours later she cane back with 2 boxes in a bag and they looked very expensive which I thought it was cool

The next day I wasn't in the best mood since I lost my phone somewhere at Jacobs cousins house so I woke up late and missed practice. As I walked to my locker I saw Mackenzie standing there with the same bag from yesterday
