I've been away with work for 5 months and Kenzie was stuck in LA to do her job. We are young and people still think we just have that high school love but we know this will last forever

I pulled into the driveway of our small yet comfortable house. As 19 year olds who literally only have each other we do make a good amount of money. We are still in college but Kenzie had bad anxiety so now she does it online.

I hear music playing through the house and I know it's Kenzie cooking since she only blasts music when cooking. I unlock the door and am hit with the smell of something nice cooking.

I set my bags down and walk to the kitchen to see her chopping up spinach. She seemed to be enjoying this cooking. I was watching her for a but until I saw her struggling to cut the Parmesan.

I walked behind her and put my hands over hers. "Tip then back" I moved the knife for her "good" I let go and so did she. Before I could pull away she hugged me so tight.

"I missed you" she cried "I missed you too" I said "hey Kenz we are back with the ic-" I heard Hayden yell "oh hey john" he said "did I interrupt something" I teased "nope. Me Hayden and Maisy were going to have a dinner date" she said

"Can I join" I asked and they all nodded. Me and Kenzie made dinner while they sat back and drank, I saw that Kenzie was the only one not drinking and when I offered her some she gagged saying no.

We were eating when Kenzie brought up babies. "So I saw that Kayla was pregnant" she saud "good for her, but a baby at 19? pretty risky" I said "why" she asked "she's still a teenager, and she has school,work, and fun to do but a baby stops that" I explained

"It doesn't have to stop" Maisy said "but it does. A baby is a baby, they are living things that want attention and time you have to give them" I said "I mean to have a baby you need to be ready, not just a house and a spouse you need to plan" he said

"Ok I get it" Kenzie said "I'm tired I'm going to bed" she walked up the stairs quickly. "Did I say something wrong" I asked and Hayden just shook his head in disappointment.

"The girl hated Kayla. She would totally agree with you but if you haven't realized your girlfriend has gained a few pounds" he said "I think she looks perfect" I shrugged "I'm not saying she's fat. Just baby weight" he said

"Everyone has baby weight but it's baby fat you dumbass" I said and he sighed "she's pregnant. With a child, caring your sperm in her, she's has a bun in the oven" Maisy said "she can't drink, she talks about babies, Ashe only wears comfy clothes" she said

"Oh. Ohhhhh" I put my head in my hands "I called her stupid" I groaned "you literally said her life was over" Hayden said "yeah I know. I'll be back if I'm not dead" I ran upstairs to our room.

I slowly opened the door and I saw Kenzie changing and surly enough she was pregnant. I looked around and saw candles and a big cake with a present with wrapping paper and ultrasound picture every where

She pulled on a sweatshirt. She grabbed the side trash can and started throwing throwing the decorations away. I felt super bad because she worked on this but didn't even get to enjoy it, I saw that she started crying a little but kept throwing everything away.

She grabbed a trash bad and tipped the cake into it "200 dollars down the drain" she whispered, she took the present and unwrapped it herself. It was a little snow globe with a dad and a baby and she shook it smiling. She then got comfortable in the bed

She kept shaking the globe smiling at the 2 figurines. "I'm sorry daddy wasn't ok thrilled about the thought of you" she said "hopefully he comes around and if not.....then it's just you and me" she caressed her stomach. She kept talking to the stomach and it made me sad

"Hey Kenzie" I knocked on the door opening it and I saw her hide the globe in her bedside table drawe and cover her stomach "hey" she smiled "I wanted to apologize for being rude about the baby thing" I said "it had nothing to do with me, I was just tired" she says

"So how far long are you" I asked after a couple of minutes of silence "what" she said confused "with the baby, how many months" I asked "5" she said "were you gonna tell me" I asked "yeah, I was going to do it a long time ago but you had priorities" she said

"You have always been my number 1, work doesn't change that" I said "you promise" she said "yes" I held her hand "I was are you sure you want a baby" she asked "kenz. I mean it's unexpected and definitely a shock but I do want a baby, I just thought we'd be older" I explain

"Oh" she said "but I think we can handle it, but this gives me a reason to get off of work earlier" I clapped and she laughed "anyways, I wanna put you to sleep" I said and she raised an eyebrow "not like that you psycho" I said "just turn over so I can't hold you" I yelled playfully
