Christmas

Kenzie POV
"I would never cheat on you" I yelled as we entered the house "then what were that talking about" Johnny yelled slamming the door "I told you a million times I don't know" I said

"Kenzie if you will just tell me we can work this out" he yelled "there is nothing to say, I promise you Johnny I didn't do anything with anyone" I pleaded "I just need space" he sighed "are you serious, we need to talk" I yelled

"No" he yelled "because I know if we keep arguing we will both make it worse" he yelled slamming our bedroom door leaving downstairs crying. I knew the kids heard us because they were home and never slept by 10. I heard a door open and I saw Campbell (girl) run into carter (boy) room,

I sat on the stairs crying. I knew we've been going through stuff with him getting promoted, causes stress and he's been on edge but I would never do that to him. I knew tonight was risky but he promised he would come to my Christmas party and it's just so great we fight the night before Christmas

I decided to change since I had some laundry in the dryer. I only washed Johnnys clothes so that would just have to work, I undid my née dress and slipped on a pair of his sweatpants and one of his shirts. I didn't care enough to take off my makeup or undo my hair.

I grabbed a blanket and sat on the couch and cried til I fell asleep.

Christmas morning
I was woken up by running and things getting knocked over. "It's Christmas" I heard the kids yell "yup" I cheered yawning "let me freshen up and we can start" I said walking upstairs still wrapped in my blanket oblivious to the stares

As I opened the door to my room I saw Johnny coming from down the hall. And he looked at me giving a warm smile before walking downstairs, I washed my face and observed where my pimple are gonna he from my makeup

"Mommmmmmmmmm. Let's goooo" Campbell yells. She's more like Johnny she is very time persistent (when it comes to what she wants) "sorry I'm coming" I said grabbing a hair brush and brushing my hair on the way down the stairs. "Your hair" her eyes not big

Johnny held up his wrist and of course a hair tie was on it, from the amount of years we've been together he knows my hair in different weather and when I brush it so he keeps something on him, it's like a jerk reaction to put one on

"Thanks" I said putting my hair in a ponytail and he nodded eating his candy cane. I sat down across from him as the kids went in on the presents and we just observed, Johnny was just eating the candy canes trying different flavors like it was real food

"We have one more surprise for you" Johnny said to Campbell "I don't need anything else" she said "too bad" I dragged her to the driveway covering her eyes "I feel like it's going to be someone who's going to like take me away" she said"that would have been cheeper" Johnny rolled his eyes

"Ok here" I said uncovering her eyes. "Is that mine" she points to the car "yeah" I smiled. She screamed clapping which made my cover my ears considering I was still half sleep. "Can I drive it" she asked "it's 5:30 am you don't need to" Johnny said "but later we can test it out ok" he said

She nodded hugging him very tight. I just watched standing next to carter "we should make breakfast" I said to him. Him and I were closer as were Campbell and Johnny, we all communicated and sometimes it would be different but the kids have a preferred parents but lobe us both equally

"You didn't get anything" he said "it's fine, I dint really need anything" I shrugged. I never was the type to want a gift, I do like them but I ain't get upset if I don't get one on a day meant for kids. "I know dad got you something" he said "it's fine, I'm not stressing I'm just happy things went as planned" I said as we walked back inside
