She felt her heart drop as she looked at her babys features for one last time, she knew she wont see her child again, and she was afraid of what the future will bring for her child. she held her baby close before she placed the child in a small basket, placing a note with her daughters name.

'Amelia Evangeline Black'

As she placed a kiss on the child's forehead, a tear fell down her face. She bids her last goodbye to the sleeping child, who slept peacefully.

"I am so sorry, sweetheart..." she muttered, "your father and I love you so much."

She placed the child on the doorstep of a Manor, she walked away, her heartbreaking. She glanced at the basket as she lets out a shaky breath, afraid. Finally, she turned away, disaparating back to her house.

She ran in, locking the door behind her and taking out her wand that was in her pocket. First, it was silence. Everything was quiet, she took a step back. The only thing that can be heard is the wind blowing from the small open window that was in the kitchen, she swung her wand, closing the window.

Her breath was heavy, her hands were shaking. Suddenly, the door bursts open, turning into dust. She stumbled back from fright, seeing a man with a dark cloak which covered his face. She instantly fired spells, which were easily deflected by the man. He disarmed her, her wand flying from her hand.

"Evangeline Black," the cloaked figure spoke, his voice hoarse. "Don't be frightened, my dear. All I need to know is where your daughter is, and I will be on my way."

Evangeline chuckled, "Like I'd ever tell you."

The cloaked figure threw a spell at the woman, throwing her back to a wall. She coughed, wincing in pain as she tried to stand up.

"I don't want to play games, girl, tell me where she is, or I will kill you."

As Evangeline tried her best to get up, her eyes landed to the man who stood at the doorway looking at her with guilty eyes. Her heart dropped and her eyes looked at him with sadness, she shook her head, denying that one of her closest friends betrayed her.

"Peter?" she spoke.

The cloaked figure pointed his wand at Evangeline, who's eyes were still on Peter Pettigrew. Peter avoided her gaze, his hands shaking.

"I don't want to repeat myself, where is she?!"

Her eyes averted her eyes from Peter, she looked up the cloaked figure, her eyes stern, full of sadness and anger. "You will not touch my family,"

"Avada Kedavra!"

Peter flinched as a green light erupted from the tip of the Dark Lords wand. His lips trembled as he watched his friend fall on the floor, lifeless. The dark lord burnt down the house, letting out a growl of anger as he walked out of the front door, the house burning behind them. As they left, Peters eyes did not leave Evangeline's lifeless body, he watched guiltily as the house around her burnt. Then, just like that they disaparted, leaving the house burning to the ground.

As if on cue, Sirius Black appeared in front of the house, coming back from a meeting with the Order, with a large grin on his face. He turned around, his eyes widening in horror. "No-!"

He ran inside the house, shaking his head as regret filled his heart. "No, no, no, no," he kept muttering as tears fell from his eyes.

He coughed from the smoke, his eyes landed on his wife who laid on the floor with lifeless eyes, everything felt like it was slow motion. he took Evangeline's body from the burning house as he sobbed, shaking his head.
