Amelia has calmed down. She sat in the middle of the two bodies, her face blank, her face stained with tears and her eyes bloodshot red and puffy. Her knees were pressed against her chest, as she stared into nothing.

"Mia." came the comforting voice of Hermione. She left Amelia for a while, to comfort Ron who is crying for his brothers death. Amelia looks up.

"Mione." croaked Amelia, her voice hoarse.

"We need to find Harry." She said, Amelia nods, stands up. She casts one last glance at her Aunt and Uncles dead body and she shakes off the feeling of her wanting to cry once more.

The castle is eerily quiet as Harry walks, the portraits he passes empty. As he reaches the end of the corridor, he turns and stops. In the shadows of an alcove, Hermione murmurs to Ron, their faces close. For a long moment, Harry simply watches them. While Amelia is sitting on the stairs, far away from Ron and Hermione, looking very glum.

Then, as if sensing his presence, Amelia turns. She stands up, Hermione lifts a brow at the girl and follows her gaze. Instantly, she runs to him. Ron follows, while Amelia slowly walks.

"Where've you been?" asked Hermione, worriedly.

"We thought you'd gone to the forest, we thought you might be --" Ron was cut off by Harry.

"I'm going there now." Harry said, Amelia looks up at him, her eyes slowly widening.

"Are you mad! No!" protested Ron, shaking his head.

"It's... meant to be." said Harry, looking down; avoiding their gazes.

"Rubbish! You can't just give yourself up to him --" Hermione squeezes Ron's arm, silencing him.

"What is it, Harry? What is it you know?" questioned Hermione.

Ron studies her face, then looks back to Harry. Amelia's face slowly twisted into a frown.

"There's a reason I can... hear them -- the Horcruxes." He starts.

Hermione begins to shake her head, not wanting to believe. Harry simply nods, touches the center of his chest.

"I think I've known for awhile." He studies Hermione. "I think you've known too."

Hermione stands still, miserable.
"I'll go with you. I'll --"

She falters hopelessly as a single tear traces her cheek.

"Kill the snake. Then find the Charm. It's in this castle. It's in this floor, I can feel it and then it's just him. Then it will be over." said Harry.

Amelia shakes her head, "No." her voice cracked, Ron and Hermione turn to her, except for Harry.

Hermione takes Ron's hand, and they walk away. Slowly, Amelia approaches Harry, avoiding his gaze.

They stood in front of each other in silence. When Harry finally spoke up, his voice weaving. "I'm sorry."

Amelia holds back the tears that are threatening to spill. "Please. Don't go." Her voice above whisper, shaking her head.

Harry takes her hand in his, and slips something in her hand, he closes it and he sighs. "I have to—"

"Don't leave me," Amelia chokes on her sob. "Please."

"Amelia, listen to me, " He lifts her chin, Amelia's eyes meet his green ones. Those eyes that Amelia fell deeply in love day by day. Those eyes that can bright up her day. "I have to go. If I don't...more than one life will be killed."
