Pokémon Oneshots!

Roserade x Reader

I'm extremely sorry if it doesn't seem like it is a Roserade x Reader! I tried to make it so but my imagination and my fingers had something else in mind.

I know someone who has been watching a lot of the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime so it was the first that came to mind.

(Y/N)'s POV

I was with Ash and his friends walking towards the Pokémon school. While we were walking, I decided to take Roserade out to walk with us. Ash was talking with his other friends while I would join in every so often. Roserade and I were looking at the scenery of the Mele Mele island. Even if I have seen it many times already, it's still beautiful.

Once at the Pokémon School, we sat in our designated seats. Professor Kukui started talking about Pokémon abilities.

"Alright! Does anyone know what the ability Flame Body does when the Pokémon with the ability gets attacked with a psychical move?" Kukui asked

I immediately raised my hand as I had the answer in mind.

"Yes, (Y/N)?" He asked

"When the Pokémon with the ability Flame Body gets attacked with a physical move, the opposing Pokémon will be burned." I answered.

"That's correct! Good job!" Kukui praised

I smiled with pride and glanced at Roserade and the other Pokémon playing.

"Now still with the ability Flame Body, what are other advantages you can have with that specific ability?" He asked the class "I want you to partner up with someone and we'll head out for a project. We are gonna find a Pokémon on Mele Mele island that has the ability Flame Body. If you can't, find something that represents an advantage with Flame Body."

We all partnered up and headed out.

Ash and Lillie, Lana and Mallow, And Sophocles and Kiawe. I ended up being the odd one out but I told professor Kukui it was fine because I had my Pokémon.

We went out to our separate paths.

I know that when you have a Pokémon with Flame Body near an egg, the egg will hatch faster. It will most likely be hard to find a Pokémon with the specific ability Flame Body so I just need to find an egg, right?

I went inside the forest with Roserade and looked around for nests.

Finally, I found an egg. It took a while but at least it was before the time limit. Which is in about an hour.

I was able to find a Pikipek egg. It was in a tree so I had a little bit of trouble obtaining it.

After climbing down, I saw a Trumbeak that was flying to peck Roserade. I tried to go between them to protect Roserade but I was too late.

Roserade flew to another tree and got severely hurt because Peck was a flying type move. I immediately tried to tend to its wounds but the Trumbeak kept pecking me.

I shielded Roserade with my body and tried to speak to the Trumbeak.

"I'm sorry I took your egg! It wasn't very nice of me but I'll be sure to return it! You can even follow me to make sure I don't do anything towards it!" I tried to convince the Wild Trumbeak to cooperate.

Luckily, after a short while, it calmed down and I finished applying to potion to Roserade.

The Trumbeak looked guilty at its sudden selfishness. But I was the one that apologized.

It looked at me with confusion.

"I'm should be sorry because I was the one that took your egg. You were doing a good job of fighting back. That means you care about this egg and will protect it. That's a good thing." I comforted the Trumbeak.

I stood and beckoned the Trumbeak to follow me to the school. It complied and we headed back.

When Ash and the others saw me, they ran up to me asking if I was ok. I told them about the small incident while my wounds were tended to by Lillie.

After presenting, the class was dismissed.

I walked back to the forest with Trumbeak to return the egg but it was slowly getting dark. Once the egg was returned, it was completely dark.

It would be a little hard to get back home.

One the way I suddenly felt my energy being drained.

"Huh?" I asked to no one in particular.

Roserade glances at me and then used razor leaf on something behind me.

I turned around and saw it was a Morelull. The Morelull was glowing slightly and was moving somewhere else.

Out of curiosity, I went to see where the Morelull was headed.

Once there, I saw many other Morelulls

They all headed toward the same direction. They headed towards a Pokémon.

And injured one to be exact.

It was an injured Pichu. The pichu had a cut on its leg that disabled it from walking.

I saw the Morelull floating to the Pichu and landing its stems and transporting energy to the Pichu.

I noticed that the Morelull didn't have enough energy to heal the Pichu. So I walked towards the Pokémon slowly and calmly.

When the Morelull looked at me threatening, I would talk to them telling them that I was safe.

I walked to the Pichu and Roserade handed me a potion from my bag. I used the potion and the Pichu went from distressed to calm.

The Pichu fell asleep and some Morelull took it to a safer place.

One of the Morelull went towards me and beckoned me towards a direction.

I was soon following to Morelull. I'm sure that it was leading me out.

During the walk, a Zorua suddenly appeared.

It seemed angry and was attacking us.

It tried to use shadow claw on me but Roserade used poison jab.

The Zorua was now poisoned and soon fainted.

I left an oran berry and a pecha berry for when it wakes up.

I thanked Roserade by smiling gratefully at her.

Finally we made it back and thanked the Morelull for guiding us. We went back home to dream about our journey.
