I put your changed username.

I know the picture above has a female but just say it's a male -_-
I'm surprisingly pretty proud of this one. Kind of. I suddenly got inspiration when I started writing a bit.

Umbreon's POV

Lately, (Y/N) has been stressing over losing many battles lately. It honestly makes me sad. But I can't do anything. I'm just a Pokémon. If only I could hug her and comfort her. She looks worse for every battle she loses. All the rest of her Pokémon are worried but not as worried as I am. I was her first Pokémon. I know her best. I feel as if it's my responsibility to be with her and make her feel better.

I have to do whatever it takes to make sure she is ok. I've come to the conclusion that if I'm going to be with her and be able to help her more, I have to be like her. I have to be human.

There has always been this rumor about Pokémon turning into Humans. It was really rare of it happening but I heard it was possible. While (Y/N) was inside her tent. The other Pokémon and I were outside eating some curry she made for us. I finished my meal and set off for what I thought would be a short journey.

(Y/N)'s POV

After talking to myself about how much of a failure I am, I finally get out of the tent to check on my Pokémon. I counted all five of them and figured they were all there. Wait. FIVE?! Who's missing?! I counted once more to realize the Pokémon that I love most was gone. My whole team and I went off to search for Umbreon. We searched the whole day. And multiple days after that. Maybe even weeks. Or months. But at one point. I gave up. We gave up. My Pokémon didn't deserve this. I told them they could leave but they stuck with me. I couldn't bring myself to smile. Or laugh. Or have any sort of fun. Umbreon left me. Maybe it was a right choice for him to leave. I'm a worthless being after all. The world seemed dark where ever I went. I would constantly think of memories about Umbreon and I. Or even when he was an Eevee.

Memory Time ( ' ' )

Third Person's POV

"Vee!"

The small male Eevee shouted in happiness as he was running with his trainer in an open field.

The small child girl laughed with her Pokémon. In the distance would be two adults. (Y/N)'s parents. The ones that left her when she was barely at the age of 9. Now, these people watching her were distant relatives. They loved her but wouldn't be able to pay attention to her most of the time. So Eevee was the girl's only true friend.

The two young friends laid on the slightly damp grass while panting.

"Eevee. Don't leave me, kay? Let's stay together forever..." the little girl fell asleep on the grass while holding onto her dear friend.

The Eevee looked at her confused as to why she would ask such a thing. But nodded as a reassurance and fell asleep as well.

(Y/N)'s POV

I opened my eyes to see my hands holding Umbreon's pokeball. I saw small wet spots land on the ball and slowly lift a hand to my cheek. I felt wet streaks of tears that continued to fall across my face. I sobbed uncontrollably because of loneliness and hurt.

The rest of the days would be the same

I gave my Pokémon to the region's professor and they took care of them because I couldn't. I was barely surviving because of my constant need to cry and mourn.

I was in my tent, crying per usual, when I heard a sound. It sounded like a branch being broken. Not in the mood to go check it out, I didn't do anything.

I heard zipping noises. Probably my tent. Whoever this intruder is probably an attacker. Oh well. It's what I deserve.

I stayed in the same position I was; sitting in the middle of my tent while holding my knees and burying my head between them.

I felt a hand on my shoulder as I heard them sitting down next to me. Suddenly, they spoke, "(Y/N)...why are you crying?"

I lifted my head slowly to look at who was next to me. It was a human. But maybe not as well? It looked like an Umbreon human?

Umbreon's POV

The mission to becoming a human took a lot longer than I thought. But at least I made it. I made it back as fast as I could. It was a weird journey for me but somewhat exciting.

I found (Y/N)'s tent in the same spot I remember.

I opened to find (Y/N) crying. It saddened me greatly to see her like this. I put a hand on her shoulder and asked, "(Y/N)...why are you crying?"

"Who...who are you...?" (Y/N) sniffled

"It's me, Umbreon. I became a human so I could be more useful to you. I went on this long journey so I could make you happy! But...I'm not sure why you are sad." I responded

(Y/N) made a very small smile as more tears came out. She quickly hugged me tightly.
"Ack! Wait! Too...tight.." I yelped to get her to release me so I could breath.

"Sorry. Sorry." She sniffled once more with tears of joy this time. The atmosphere immediately turned brighter.

I held her head against my chest as I brushed my fingers through her hair. I leaned down and whispered,

"Don't worry...I won't ever leave you again"
