Its kinda weird how when you're sadness clings to you, and you cling to it. It becomes all you know. Everything becomes a blur of pain. Everything even living, takes effort, and effort takes energy and motivation that you just don't have anymore.
I have been in this bloody basement for little over a month, and I have lost all hope and motivation for escaping. I have tried everything, but there's no use. Im sure no one knew I was missing, let alone worked to find me.
"Good morning love" Harry walked down the stairs greeting me with a smile. I have warmed up to him a little over the past few weeks. Turns out he's actually a sweet soul. A sweet soul that had committed a monstrous crime. He lets me walk around and play games to entertain my bland mind. He gives me books to read and proper meals. Yes, it's a little weird to think that you could be-friend your kidnapper, but he really wasn't all that bad.
Plus being kind to him keeps him happy and away from the dark side of his personality. One wrong move and evil envelopes his eyes and dark clouds swallow his mind and heart. But if you be kind and follow his orders he's nurturing, open, and sweet.
"How are you feeling this morning?" He skips over and crossed his legs as he gently sat beside me.
"Okay I guess" he frowned at my reply.
"Why's that", he scooted closer.
"I haven't had any fresh air in a month Harry. I haven't felt the bright sunlight shinning on my skin, or the cool breeze blowing through my hair". I ranted on looking at his stern expression.
"I would let you out, but you'd run away as soon as I opened the door". He looked down to the ground hard in concentration.
"Harry I won't I promise, I just need some fresh hair". I stated brushing my hair to the side tilting my head in Harry's direction.
"I guess that would be okay" he smiled, curiosity hidden behind his eyes.
"Thank you", I popped up cheerfully awaiting him to do the same."We can go out now if you want?" I shook my head vigorously at his offer. He led me up the stairs and into the heart of the house, showing me to the front door. As soon as he opened it, the hinges creaked at the slightest movement. The cool air blowing my hair off my shoulders and the sudden contact of the sun making me squint.
"It's so beautiful out", a whisper barely audible under my breath.
"Yes, yes it is". I felt his presence at my side as he smiled and looked over at me.The unexpected movement knocking me off my feet, and sending my thoughts flying. Harry had gently pushed me to the house perimeter and kissed me so carefully as if I would shatter under his touch. Something so wrong, felt so right. I was still trying to process what was happening as he smiled under my frozen state.
He pulled away momentarily and grinned at me, as I beamed a small smile. Why was I happy about this, he was my kidnapper, yet I was slowly, surely falling for him.
A/N: ooo dang they kissed, lol sorry for the depressing quote in the beginning also the frequent updates,
Goodnight ily.
