Chapter 9: The blossomed love

Y/n POV
Something wasn't right when a saw a big grin scattered on Mitsuri's face, her expression was a bit creeping my nerves. "What is it Mitsuri san?" I asked and knew it must be about love, then she finally blurted out words I didn't expect her to know "I see you like Tomioka san Y/n~" before I could say a word she went to the point on how she knew about my feelings toward Giyuu. "I believe you were gonna ask me how did I knew, *a sparkle lit in her green eyes and smiled proudly* because I am your female friend and also don't for get I am the love pillar!" She said with a confident sweet tone, she's so adorable. I chuckled nervously trying to hide the fact she was correct but I didn't noticed my face was entirely red like a tomato. In the corner of my eye, Mitsuri smiled and giggled with excitement " I know what that means Y/n chan, don't worry bout it your secret is safe with me!" She said while standing up on her feet then took my hand, but what I didn't noticed was someone who was watching the entire time. It was the other Pillar who was a social butterfly, Uteki Mizujimo known as the rain pillar. She radiates a bad vibe every time I talk to Giyuu, I didn't know why but gladly she was far away while we were talking.

As days had passed by in a rush a mission came up, I was supposed to be going with Giyuu. But he was nowhere to be seen around the head quarters, but suddenly I had a bad feeling of what was going to happen when I arrive.

Y/n was running into the woods while her own crow was screaming it's lungs out to quick up. She didn't really knew the reason but soon, the things will happen. She felt coldness overwhelm her body as she arrived at the area, it was a long run. She then heard voices from the other side of the woods and decided to go check. "Nezuko!" CRASH! Y/n then heard a soft thump like someone fell from a high place, she quickly ran out to catch but wasn't in time but the snow saved the two child from getting hurt. Then a sharp smell filled the air, it was a demon scent coming from beside her. There was a boy with a checkerboard green and black haori with a young girl wearing a soft colored pink clothing. Her head was down but Y/n knew something was telling her she wasn't human.

Y/n POV
I felt something wasn't right, they look like they were both siblings but the girl doesn't radiate that she's human. I ran to the boy while he can do anything in a rush but the girl caught him first. "Hey! Get off your own brother!" I threw her out but instead she threw herself over me while the young boy was trying to stop her while he was crying. But something was different about her, she in her eyes seem to be calling herself trying to snap out of her demon form. But became her bodies prison. "NEZUKO! This isn't you! Come back to your brother! Please, don't harm others! Nezuko!" But then the girl started to cry, her tears fell onto my face, showing her softness and uniqueness about herself. But then I heard another voice I putted her down protecting both child's from the ice cold storm, it was definitely a demon slayer. I covered the two child's pushing them onto the tree while defended myself with a blade. WOOSH The ice cold covered me and overwhelmed me, I couldn't breathe properly. But as I looked up, I wasn't shocked to see who it was. "Giyuu..." I spoke softly as his eyes widen, his eyes then landed on my face seeing my cheeks cracked from the cold but instead he then tried to aim for the two children I have been protecting. He swiftly ran in a blink of an eye, but I believe he forgot I was also a hashira. CLING Our blade clashed into each other while with his face plastered in emotionless face his expression changed entirely into a confused one. "Why?.." Giyuu asked softly as he broke onto the opposite side, "Y/n, it's against the rules of being a demon slayer, why are you protecting it?..." He asked while I hesitantly tried to answer but I keep my mouth shut, but decided to answer "You may not get it, but soon you will. This girl, she's different from other demons and the siblings are different from others too." She said, he didn't gave anything about it. He needs to finish this, and talk to her later. WOOSH in only just a blink of her eye, he took the girl away already giving Y/n a death glare, "You're protecting this? Are you out of your mind?!" Giyuu scolded, I didn't expect this to happen. But I wont give up, but then the young boy suddenly cried out "Please! I don't know who you both are but please! Just leave us alone! We hadn't done anything, please give her back. Don't kill her! Please, I have no one other than her anymore!" The young boy begged as he put his head down begging Giyuu to release his sister. I felt something stabbing my chest, the feeling of sadness overwhelmed me. I feel this feeling before, when I was still young. But Giyuu then screamed, "I don't care if she is your sister, because we Demon Slayers have a job to kill demons and protect Humans! The weak doesn't have a choice but to be crushed by the strong!" He roared as the young boy cried,
He looks broken and sad I feel him.. alot... Giyuu then stabbed the young girl as she screamed in pain trying to get out of his grasps, but what I didn't expect was the young boy who took out his axe and started to attack Giyuu. But as he threw rocks, I saw that the young boy wasn't holding the axe anymore and that's when it happened. Giyuu angrily took him down while the axe spun almost went to him directly to his head, but luckily he moved his head fast enough before he could react. The young girl got out of Giyuu s grasp and ran to protect her brother.

Thats when everything started to turn for all of us for the better. I was heavily relieved that Giyuu finally gave up. He saw the difference now.

As he knocked her down, he looked at me with his blue orbs then suddenly gave me a warm soft smile I haven't seen since young, I didn't noticed that he was so unbelievably handsome... I was lost into his eyes while my eyes tingled tears from my eyes.
Third POV
Giyuu then slowly approached Y/n as her tears dropped from her eyes. It was actually triggering her, of what had happen. He swept the tears away and hugged her, out of shock Y/n was just standing there crying softly. She could remember every second of that horrible time she had and wanted to be able to find her brother.
The young boy woke up and as soon as he did his tears fell from his eyes while grabbing her sister tightly while she was wearing a muzzle sleeping peacefully Y/n was smiling at him while leaning against the tree. Giyuu was up on the tree while spoke to the young boy softly, "Please go next to the top of the mountains and as soon as you saw an elder man tell him I sent you from Giyuu Tomioka and Y/n L/n" as soon as he finished the young boy looked at Y/n with relief in his eyes and thanked her as she swiftly went back to my estate with Giyuu.
While they were on the way, Giyuu was looking at her the whole time which made her uncomfortable. She then looked at him with her e/c orbs and gave him a questionable look. He looked away while she could clearly see that his ears were red and so was his face. "Is something wrong Tomioka san?.." she asked while he just shook his head and continued.
Giyuu's POV
After everything ended finally I written my letter to Master while me and Y/n were on the way back to the estate. She looks a bit tired but I suddenly noticed what changed in her. Her looks and everything changed from when we were young. That time she acted really manly and now she was more feminine than before. She was strong and incredibly beautiful.... Her orbs were gorgeous... but she caught me staring at her as she gave me a questionable look. I looked away but knew I was caught, "Tomioka san.. Your face is red.. Is something wrong?" I didn't looked at her but just shook my head, and I looked at her. "Y/n.. you can just call me Giyuu like before when we were kids.." I spoke she then looked at me with a soft smile, "ah sorry... but alright if you insist." She said while rubbing her hands, she was clearly embarrassed but I feel like that's kind of cute... but I suddenly stumbled out those words "why are you so cute.." she then looked at me but with a bright red face, she was deeply embarrassed now... god... cute.. But I came back to reality, i just said those words out .... "s-sorry" I rubbed my back sheepishly as I heard giggles next to the estate. Kanroji... I knew she was a bit up to something. I then set off while Y/n went into her estate, I dragged Kanroji out to the forest while she was giggling. "Kanroji. Why are you giggling.?" I asked while I clearly knew she was up to something "Tomioka san, you like Y/n san dont you hehehe, there's no denying it after you said that." She smiled while I interrupted her, "can you help me?.." I blurted without knowing what deal I will make..
"You mean a deal for me to help you go with her?" She asked and I told her..
