I sit in the chair across from Dylan at the smoothie place in the mall.

"We really haven't talked as besties lately, what's the 411? "Dylan asks in a screechy voice.

"Well mindy.... I was out with the girls and I met this guy and oh my goooddd he is so gooooood in beeeeddd. " I drag out and roll my eyes. We look at each other then laugh.

"No but for real. What's been going on I feel like we haven't hung out. Mom keeps asking about you. " I sip my tropical blast smoothie.

"Well. I was at Cades when Kai called. I met his parents and they're so nice. His dad though... He's like the exact replica of Cade except for his eyes. He has an older sister and younger twin siblings. When I was there I felt like I was at home. Like I was accepted there. "

"You miss your mom. " She stated. I look at her and slowly nod.

"All I have are my friends moms. They're the closest I have to a mom. You know and now that mamma m's cancer came back and it's too late ... I can't help but feel like I'm losing another mom. But then I can't imagine what Kai and Trey are going through. "

"It's ok to miss her T. She's your mom. "

"I know that I just... I don't know. She died when I was 9 and I feel like I should've moved on from it. "

"Not that I don't mind having a deep conversation with my best friend but.. Are some kind of shrink now? " I grab her smoothie and drink from it. She snorts and grabs mine.

"No. When you talked about Cadens family and when Kai told me about how you reacted about mamma M, I could just tell. You've never really had a real family. " I groan at her words.

"Who needs a real family? I don't. All I need are my friends and big brother. I'm good with that. " I yank at my hair tie and run my fingers through my hair.

"Oh come on Tania. Everyone need a family. Even you. " She grabs her smoothie back from my hand.

"I'm a bad bitch. I ain't need no one. "I lean back in my chair and vross my arms.

" Whatever I'm done being sentimental with Manhattan's biggest drug dealer. "She mumbles.

" You know it. "I grin and drink my smoothie.

" Mamma T! "I hear. I look behind Dylan and see Tyler with Jordan. He runs up to me.

" Hi baby you want a smoothie.? "I pull him into the chair next to me.

" Yes. I want banana. "

"Only banana? " Dylan asks.

"Unnnn banana and mango and kiwi. " He taps his chin.

"You heard the kid. " I hand my card to Jordan.

"You both are lazy bums. " He grabs my card and goes to the counter.

"Did you find your costume.? 'I ask.

" Yea! "

"Took him longer then all of us. " Caden comes and pulls Tyler on his lap and takes his chair.

"That's because we all agreed on not buying costumes. "He takes my smoothie and drinks from it. I slap his hand away.

" Go get your own. "I say and take it from him. He pouts.

" Jordan get me a pineapple and orange smoothie. "He yells to Jordan. I shake my head.

"Thats such a disgusting
combination. " Tyler says.

"How do you know if you never tried it? "Cade asks.

" I don't have to try it to know. "Tyler replies.

"Did Alexis and Nichol leave? "

"Yea. Lex said there's a pa-" She gets cut off from my phone.

"Why is the NYPD calling you.? " She asks worry in her eyes.

"I don't know. I didn't do anything this time. " I say.

"Well answer it. " She moves her chair beside me and I answer it. I lean to her so she can hear.

"Hello."

"I didn't think you'd answer Tania. " I roll my eyes.

"What do you want Todd.? "

"I just wanted to check up. I heard you got into some fights and I know Sarah is out. Is everything going ok. "

"Yes everything's fine. I'm fine. And those fight were almost a month ago. I haven't done anything bad if that's what you're worried about. "

"Like I said before you're like a daughter and I want to make sure you don't end up in jail again and because I know how you are, that worries me. " I sigh. I feel someone yanking at my hair and I turn to see Tyler playing with it.

"Like I said I'm fine. And it's not like your cop friends won't tell you if I'm in jail or not. Which I won't be. So stop stressing over me. Oh and why are you calling from the police department.? "

"Because you won't answer my personal phone. "

"Ok well I'm busy.... " I trail off.

"Yea yea,go be a teenager and don't party to hard tomorrow. "

"Ok bye. " I groan.

"Bye." I hang up and toss my phone on the table.

"Hey he's just checking on you calm down. "

"Yea whatever. "I finish my smoothie.

" Hey guys. "Jaden comes in with Briana  and Isabella

"Well well well who do we have here? " Dylan says with a smirk. Briana looks down at her feet.

"You guys said you'd be there for us right? " We all look at each other and Jordan comes back with all the drinks. He hands me my card and sits next to Dylan.

"Yea why? " Caden asks.

"We want a makeover. We wanna be like you guys. You all just spill confidence. " Briana says.

"And you all have good fashion sense. " I think about it. Then I slowly start to smirk.

"Oh no. I know that look. I seen that when Gwen wanted to go goth. "

"I have a great idea. " I say and clasp my hands together under my chin.

"More shopping? " Jordan groans.
"Oh no you guys are coming with us. " I point to the guys.

"You'll wanna come with us. " Dylan says.

"I think we'll go to the arcade with little ty. Just meet us there when you're done. " Caden says getting up with Tyler and walking to the arcade.

"Yea see ya later. " The twins get up and follow.

"Who do you want Dylan? I say we go our separate ways so the girls feel more comfortable with us. " I look at them and they look at each other before nodding.

"I'll take little Bella and turn her into gorgeous Izzy. Not that your not beautiful right now because you are... "

"Maybe you should shut up now dyl."I say as Isabella blushes.

"Ok well I'll take Briana and we'll meet at the arcade. "I say.

"I say in 2 hours. " Dylan said. I nod.

"Ok let's go. " I grab my phone and keys and stuff it in my bag. I grab Briana's hand and head to the salon.
