"Thank you for tonight.." I said as he walked me to my door talaga sa condo. "Ako na magsosorry para kay kuya Oyo." Napakamot siya ng batok nang matandaan lahat ng panunukso ng kuya niya sa amin. Tumawa naman ako. "I like kuya Oyo. Napakaapproachable." I giggled.
"Ako nanliligaw sayo ha, hindi si kuya." He gave me his boyish smile and it was like a reflex. I didn't even see it coming. I was on my tiptoes and I kissed his cheek. I smiled to myself and unlocked the door.
Pumasok ako at nagbihis na ng pantulog. I opened my laptop para magsearch ng reading assignment na binigay ng prof namin sa Introduction to Political Analysis. Isang 30-page long na PDF ang babasahin namin.
I stretched my arms and drank the iced coffee in can I had in my fridge. Nagsimula akong magbasa and I was already on the 21st page nang may tumawag sa akin through Facetime. It was Dadad.
"Hi, Dadad." I cheerily greeted him and he waved in response. "May ikekwento ka sakin?" He asked while typing something. Work ata. "You called diba? Baka ikaw may ikwento sakin." I minimized the Facetime window and continued reading the PDF.
"Wala talaga, naknak?" He challenged me and adjusted his glasses. I just shrugged and said wala while reading. He caught my attention when he said, "May nanliligaw ba sayo or may crush ka or.." Shit, alam niya? Or? Fuck, ano ba?
"Umamin ka na, may Vico Sotto na cinontact ako at humingi ng permiso." What?
"Dadad.." I tried to explain pero walang words na lumabas sa bibig ko. "Alam mo, buti pa si Vico nagkekwento sakin. He even said I was the first person to know na pumayag kang manligaw siya sayo." He commented and chuckled after.
"Dadad, I didn't want to tell you na hindi sa personal." Palusot ko pa and he just shook his head, knowing it was a habit of mine na magreason out kaysa magsorry. "Sorry, Dadad. I love you." I showed him my puppy eyes na weakness niya.
He just sighed and smiled at me happily. "I love you so much, naknak. And I trust Vico. He's a good man." Dadad is so understanding, ang swerte ko. I can't help but maluha ng konti because he's so supportive of what makes me happy. His phone rang and his smile turned into a frown.
"Una na ako, naknak. Trabaho pa si Dadad, ingat ka lagi. Uwi ka ng Bantayan sa break mo." I just nodded at what he said and said my goodbyes too.
I immediately texted Vico after that kasi naman di talaga nagsabi sa akin ang tukmol na alam pala ni papa.

"Psst."
"Yes?"
"You didn't tell me na nagpaalam ka pala kay Dadad."
"Hehe, sorpresa diba. Di naman kita liligawan nang walang paalam."
"Wow, chivalry isn't dead."
"Of course, buhay pa 'ko eh."
"Wow, kapal."
"Crush mo pa rin ako."
"Edi wow."
"Matulog ka na kaya."
"May class ka pa bukas eh."
"K."
"Good night, crush."
"Walang good night sa'yo, pinapatulog mo agad ako."
"Hehe eto nalang good night kiss. 😚"
I smiled and blushed as I turned my phone off. I washed my face and went to sleep. This time, I slept soundly, knowing my Dadad is happy for me and I'm falling for a guy who actually likes me.
