First reason: Anemone enchanted Kinkajou to love him just as much as he loved her, and she absolutely fell for him.

Second reason: Kinkajou actually called Turtle "cute"!!!

Third reason: Long after Anemone's enchantment, when all the animus magic had wore off Kinkajou, she was still confused about her love for Turtle.

This ship is pretty freaking cute and it's pretty much meant to be a ship.
