As I said on the last ship, Thorn is a strong and brave queen. Smolder? A kind and strong royal (And no, they aren't related, Thorn became queen without any royal blood). At one point at the end of the 2nd arc, Smolder and Thorn showed interest in each other. In my opinion, this has a chance of turning out, and becoming canon.
Anyway, I overall don't mind it. It'll most likely turn out anyway.
