Hours after Namjoon leaves, I decide to check out the places in the house I haven't looked at.

I pull down the ladder to the attic, careful on my way up in case a step was broken. I push a box away from the entrance, pulling myself onto the landing. With my flashlight, I search around for the light switch. I flip it up, thankfully the lightbulb turning on.

"Jeez, that's a lot of junk," I mutter to myself, searching around the cluttered place.

What stops me in my tracks is a box that's labeled, 'Joon's School Files' in black marker.

"He must've put it up here and forgot about it," I say, rolling my eyes at his bad memory. A deep pit in my stomach wants to say that he didn't put it up here, but who could've done it?

Shaking my head, I grab the box and throw it down to the first floor. I decided to head back down to cook dinner; Namjoon should be home any minute now. As I'm stepping down the ladder, I notice something shining in the corner. Grasping my flashlight again, I shine it on the object but it's just a box.

I frown to myself, thinking my mind was playing tricks on me. But when I take the light off, it shows up again.

And the two lights staring at me blink, with a low growl.

I screech, trying to scramble down but loosing my footing and falling onto the floor with a loud thud. Pain erodes in my back, making me huff air in and out. The wind had been knocked out of me.

"Seokjin!" A deep voice shouts from behind me, "oh my god, are you okay? What happened?"

He gently sits me up, pulling me into his lap. I raise a hand to my forehead, a massive headache hitting me right in my temples.

"I slipped," I breathe out, closing my eyes. "But I found your files."

He scoffs, shaking his head, "are you okay?"

"Yeah, but my shoulders and head really hurt."

"Can you stand?"

I nod, sitting up with his help. He stands up, reaching down to pull me up. I rub my left shoulder, trying to roll out the pain.

"I'll go get you some medicine, go sit down."

"What about dinner?" I question, knowing we were both starving.

"I'll order online. Pizza is always good," he smiles, pushing me forward to go sit.

I hear him push the ladder to the attic up, it makes a horrible whining sound. Goosebumps appear on my arms, chilling me.

Something isn't right.

"Joon," I call, "I think there's an animal in the attic."

But that growl was unlike any animal I've ever heard before.

"Are you sure? It's probably a squirrel. Those damn things are always getting in the attics."

"Yeah... probably..."
