"Have a good day." My voice comes out light, filled with disappointment and hopelessness.

"You too. I love you," he kisses my cheek with a content grin.

After he walks out of the door, I lock it behind him. Immediately, tears begin to fall down my cheeks. It was hopeless. This thing was going to kill me and he would say it was an accident.

Pulling out my phone, I dial the one person who did believe me and I could trust.

"Hi hyung," Tae greets, smile present in his tone. If only he were here.

"How soon can I make an appointment with your friend, Tae? I need her. I need help. Please, help me, Taehyung," I cry out, my throat already sore and aching.

"Oh hyung, I'll call her today. Do you need me to come over? I don't mind calling into work."

"N-no, it's okay. Please, just ask her to call me or something. I don't think this thing is going to let me off the hook anymore."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean there's a big ass hole in the wall and I have bruises all over."

"Jesus- you need to get out of there. I'm coming to pick you up, or I'll send Yoongs-"

"No, no. It's fine. I might just go out and see a movie or something. I don't know. I just need you to call her and then I'll be okay. Thank you though."

"I'm serious hyung. You can't be there by yourself. It's dangerous."

"Taehyung, I am fine. I'm just going to do some things around the house to keep me distracted and to hopefully not piss it off. If anything happens, you will be the first person I will call. I promise, okay?"

My heart clenched when I heard him let out a defeated sigh. "Okay hyung... please, be careful. I love you too much to let you get killed by something I could've stopped. I'll have her call you later. Her name is Lee Minji."

"Thank you, Tae. I'll see you later."

"I better see you later."

Hours after the talk with Tae, I spoke with Miss Lee Minji. She called about an hour after Tae hung up. She directed me to stay in the house for awhile, knowing that leaving could make the thing angrier. She talked to me about different kinds of... outer world entities. Poltergeists, demons, orbs, spirits, and then just your abnormal ghost.

I described everything in detail, having to take a moment to myself when I told her what happened with Namjoon. She was very understanding of it, knowing people could either be harsh believers or plain ignorant. Some people needed to see it for themselves before they could believe something. I knew Namjoon was that type.

After our call, I made an appointment with her that night. She was on her way, and I was sitting nervously on the couch. What if something happened while she was here? What if it attacked her like it did to me? What if she was killed? Would I take the blame?

A knock on the door startles me from my thoughts. Jumping to my feet, I make my way over to the door. When I open it, she takes in a gasp like I had just scared the life out of her.

"Heaven have mercy..." she whispers, settling down and finally meeting my eyes. "Good afternoon, Seokjin. I'm Lee Minji, as you know."

"Hello, Minji," I bow politely, stepping out of the way for her to come in.

Shutting the door after her, I watch as she takes in a deep breath and gazes around the house. The fright she had taken in was unsettling. I didn't know if it was normal for her to get scared — I thought she had experienced something like this before.

"May we sit?" She waves her hand toward the couch.

"Of course. Would you like anything to drink?"

She shakes her head, easing herself to sit on the suede couch. I take a seat in the chair next to it, not sure if she wanted me close.

"You mentioned feeling it touch you, correct?"

I nod, anxiety bubbling in my stomach.

"Objects have moved around. You can feel its presence. There's been odd sounds ranging from the door slamming to a growl?"

Nodding again, I wasn't sure where she was getting at.

"I believe what is here, is a poltergeist. They like to manipulate the environment." Man, she was doing a lot of hand gestures. "A poltergeists is a rare kind of haunting, but also... the most terrifying."

"I can attest to that," I joke, trying my best to lighten the mood, yet it came out strained.

Her eyes soften up with sympathy. "I know it's hard, Seokjin. It can be hard by yourself, especially when you're partner is unaware or doesn't believe you."

"Yes, I know," I look down toward my twiddling thumbs, stopping my movement to try and ease myself. "Tell me more about this... this thing."

Her attention shifts from me to the atmosphere, glaring at all objects in the way, almost as if she was trying to point out where it was listening from.

"It usually starts out slow and mild, sometimes tricking your mind. Your perception is easily tricked. It makes you think, 'did I hear something or am I crazy?' 'Did I put that cup there or was it moved?' But after it begins to mess with you, it intensifies. There's something called the naughty little girl theory. It means the spirit only does things for causing mischief. Not everyone uses this term though, it's only a theory. Psychics or demonologists came up with it because sometimes poltergeists are only here for the fun of messing with people. Most of the time, the activity is harmless and ends quickly, but on other terms, it also can become dangerous. Some experts try to explain these spirits as a mass form of energy that a living person is controlling unknowingly. We're not entirely sure of everything. We haven't had cases like... this one, in quite a while. Around here, at least. Most of the time, it disappears or moves onto someone else while we're studying it, trying to make us chase it. The job isn't easy."
