Namjoon climbs into bed with me, shutting off the light and wrapping his arm around my torso.
"Is everything okay, Seokjin?" He whispers out of the blue, kissing the back of my neck.
I stay silent, silence engulfing us. I don't know what to say to that. How am I supposed to break this kind of thing to him? He's a skeptic. Hardcore. He won't believe me, he'll try to figure out a way to make it seem coincidental. Believe me, I'm not super into... unnatural occurrences, but this is happening. This is real.
"I think I'm going insane in this house," I mutter back, turning myself around to see the outline of his face.
"You should get out more then, Jin. You shouldn't be so cooped up. Call one of the guys, they'll come over and have coffee."
I shake my head slightly, "it's not that. It just..." I struggle to find the words, "weird... here. It's odd, things are happening."
He hums, "what kind of things?"
"I don't know, just strange things."
"It's probably your imagination. You know how exaggerated you can get. It's your mind playing tricks on you," he tries telling.
See? Nothing but a skeptic.
"Yeah, you're probably right. Let's sleep now. Goodnight Joonie."
"Night baby bun."

After Namjoon leaves in the morning, I decide to take his advice and call Taehyung.
"Hey hyung, what's up?"
"Hey, I was just wondering if you would like to come and get coffee with me."
"That's actually perfect, I was just craving some," he cheerfully replies, already seeming to be getting on his shoes.
"Yeah, of course. Can you pick me up though? Joon took the car," I request, knowing he'd have no problem with it.
"Funny how you wanted to get coffee with me, yet I'm the one giving up gas," he laughs and I just shake my head, responding with a teasing insult.
"I'll be there soon."
-
"So how's everything been with the house?" Tae questions, taking a sip of his pumpkin spice latte.
I shrug, biting my lip and setting down my own cup, "it's alright. Beautiful house. Nice setup."
His eyebrows come together, "what's the matter? Do you not like it? Too big?"
I clench my jaw, trying to find the right way to ask this. There was a reason why I called him specifically.
"Tae, do you believe in ghosts?" As soon as I asked, I expected him to laugh. Think it was a joke, but all he did was nod and tell me to go on.
"I-I can't explain it. There's just... something wrong with the house. There's something in it, I can feel it and it doesn't like us being there."
"What has Namjoon said about it?"
"Every time I've said something about it, he pushes it off as it being in my head or something. I don't know what to do. I'm scared, Tae, I'm so scared."
"What's been happening?" He grasps my hand lightly, "have you seen it?"
I hesitantly nod, "kind of. In the attic. There were two glowing eyes and it growled at me. Then before Hoseok came over, it called me. It said 'give it to me.' It repeated it over and over. A-and just yesterday, I went out for groceries and this lady told me I needed to get Namjoon and get out of that house. I don't even know who she was. When I got home, I was putting the food away and the eggs popped out of their container and started cooking on the counter. And Namjoon said I was sick because he apparently put the groceries away and the eggs were fine."
When I look up from where my gaze had fallen, the younger had fear and concern in his eyes.
"Christ, hyung..."
"I don't know what to do, kid," I whimper, putting my head in my hands. "He doesn't believe me. Sometimes I don't even believe me."
"No, don't do that hyung," he says, speaking up, "this sounds awful what you're going through, alone especially. I have a friend who deals with this kind of stuff, I can talk to her and have her schedule an appointment with you to check out the house."
Our eyes meet, mine with tears, his with worry. He stands from his seat and comes over to my side, pulling me into a tight hug.
"It'll be okay."
