Why did my heart hurt seeing him so weak like this? I felt like it was all my fault.
"Why? Just why?" Tears rimmed into his eyes. I badly wanted to comfort him, but unfortunately, I chose not to.
This all just takes me back to the time....
// Flash Back //
"W-What's going on?" I asked, witnessing my best friends together.
Jungkook immediately pushed Sujin off of himself and walked towards me. But I backed away. My heart shattered into many pieces, leaving me to feel broken.
I can't fucking believe he's cheating on me with Sujin.
"S-Sujin?" I called her out, she looked at me with regret in her eyes.
"Soyeon, I-"
I looked away. "D-Don't. Just go."
Sujin didn't hesitate to leave. She left just like that. My heart broke witnessing her with Jungkook.
How could they go behind my back and betray me like this?
Jungkook turned his head towards me and I glared at him.
"This is all a misunderstanding-"
I interjected. "How could you betray me like this?"
"Why with my best friend?" My voice broke. It hurt to see him in front of me with sadness in his eyes.
He brought his head down and avoided my gaze.
"You promised me you wouldn't hurt me. You promised me you loved me. You lied!" I yelled at him and lightly pushed him away.
His body moved slightly but he continued to ignore my gaze.
"I'm sorry..."
"Sorry won't cut it. I'm breaking up with you, Jeon Jungkook. We're over." I threw his promise ring onto his body and ran out as fast as I could.
// Flash Back Over //
With all my might, I shoved him off of my body and he lost balance in the process.
"Why what, huh?!" I raised my voice at him. All the anger and sadness I had kept hidden, has managed to escape my body. I was furious now.
Jungkook fixed himself as tears pooled down his eyes. "Why did you have to break my heart?"
Me? Break his heart? No. He broke mine.
I scoffed at his pathetic behavior. "You mean you're telling me I broke your heart?"
Jungkook's tears came falling down faster; His eyes became red and puffy. "Yes."
"How am I the one that broke your heart?!" I shouted at him, all the anger released onto him.
He stepped closer and glared at me with sadness filled into his eyes.
"Don't forget, Jeon Jungkook, you cheated on me." I angrily said.
Jungkook came even closer, almost closing the gap between us. "Why did you have to leave me?"He softly spoke.
