"I don't understand any of this." I sighed heavily, organizing the paperwork back in the room I was got lost in, a few days ago. Every time I came in here, I was directed to get more paperwork or organize them nicely. It wasn't necessary, but Jungkook sure held a grudge on me, that's for sure.

"Need a little help?" I cocked my head towards the direction of the voice and my eyes softened when I saw Taehyung coming towards me.

"No, thank you." I briefly said and closed the desk. Before I could get a chance to walk away, Taehyung stood in front of me and studied me like I was some painting. Why is he so close?

I managed to create some distance between us and fixed myself. "Why are you here?"

"Same reason as you," he spoke lowly. I knew I had to get back before Jungkook would scold me, but something told me to stay. Which I did.

"Why are you talking to me?" I asked, breaking the awkward silence. Taehyung lightly chuckled, licking his lips in the process.

"I know about you and Jungkook, you know." Taehyung admitted, and I widened my eyes. So did he like to tell everybody? Is that why I've been getting glares from my own co-workers who don't even know me?

"Good for you, I guess." I attempted to walk off, but he held my arm back so I had no choice but to stay.

I wiggled out of his embrace and stood farther away from him. "Look, I don't know what your problem is, alright? But I need to get back to work.."

He nodded his head but said something before I left. "I'm sorry for what you had to go through, by the way."

"What do you mean by that?"

He sighed. "I heard about what went down between the both of you, and I wanted to apologize on his behalf for what happened."

A smile curved onto my lips. "No apology necessary, but I appreciate it. Thank you."

I strolled off and went back into my office room.

I prayed that Jungkook doesn't get mad at me for taking too long. When I was at the entrance of his office, I overheard him discussing things with someone and I lightly knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Jungkook shouted. I quietly opened the door only to see Jimin and Jungkook talking with each other. I went back to my desk and started with even more paperwork.

"Hey, Soyeon." Jimin appeared in front of my desk, smiling.

"Can I help you?" I asked in annoyance but Jimin seemed unbothered. Jungkook snorted and Jimin glared at him.

"Are you dating anyone?"

From the corner of my eyes, I noticed how unpleasant Jungkook seemed and questions roamed inside my head. Why does he look angry?

"No." I hesitated to say, but I did anyway.

"Good to know, see you around, Soyeon." And with that, he left.

I looked at Jungkook and saw that he was glaring at Jimin's direction before he noticed me.

"He's such a flirt." I said.

He scoffed and fixed his tie. "Tell me about it."

I laughed for the first time in forever with Jungkook, and his gaze softened.

"So, are you available this weekend?" He questioned, biting his lip nervously.

Of course, I was, except that I had a grandpa to take care of.

I nodded. "Why?"

"Great, because I have to go on a business trip overseas," He brushed his hair back.

"Okay..and?"

"And.. you need to come along." he added.

I choked on my own saliva at the thought of going on a business trip with him. I can't handle being with him all alone; That would be so awkward honestly.

I groaned. "Why me? Can't you bring someone else?"

He shook his head. "No, you are my assistant so you have to go with me."

God. WHY????

I don't want to go with him. I wanted to stay home and remain to be at home. Seeing him every day at work was already stressful enough, but going away on a business trip with him.. alone, was even more stressful and not to mention, terrifying.

"For how long?" I raised my eyebrow.

He made a thinking face at me. "Maybe two weeks? Or it could extend."

Two. Fucking. Weeks? Hell no, I don't care what he says. I'm not going to go away with him for two weeks just with him. What would happen if it's just the two of us? Would we have to sleep on the same bed? Please, no.

"I'm not going-"

He glared. "You have to."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"NO!" I shouted.

"Kim Soyeon, you're going with me whether you like it or not. Now hurry up and go pack the paperwork. We'll leave shortly to pick up your clothes from your house, and then we'll be off." He raised his voice, and I shuddered, grabbing the paperwork quickly.
