The One

Y/N's P.O.V 
I walked on the pavement, observing the shops around me till I reached the cafe where I was supposed to meet Lisa. 
I walked in and saw Lisa sitting inside. As soon as she saw me, she waved me over. 
She stood up and hugged me. 
"It's like I'm seeing you after ages!" she shrieked with excitement.
"I know, I've been working from home a lot lately, and when I do go to work, you're not there." I said as I sat down.
"Good thing we text each other every day!" She said, smiling, as she proceeded to look at the menu.
While we awaited our breakfast, Lisa started telling me about this guy she had met recently.
"He is so handsome. We met when I went to the zoo last week with my family. Turns out, he is a photographer too. He asked me for my number and I have a date tonight!" She said as her cheeks went red.
"Wow! That is wonderful, are you nervous?" I asked.
"Duh! Of course, I am!" She replied.
"Even I have to go to a dinner tonight, I'm nervous too." I said and took a sip of my cappuccino. 
"Ooh, you have a date too? Good to know Jungkook is treating you well." She winked at me.
"Yes, a date but like, with his parents." I said. Lisa choked on her coffee. 
"Oh my god, are you okay?" I said as I rushed to rub her back.
She cleared her throat, "I'm fine, but parents? That is a big deal." 
"I know right? I hope our evenings go well!" I said, letting out a sigh. 

It was about 4 pm, I was getting ready, waiting for Jungkook to come any minute.
I clicked a mirror selfie and sent it to Lisa, asking whether I looked decent.
I checked myself out in the mirror and then the bell rang.
Taking a deep breath, I walked towards the door.
There stood Jungkook, in a tuxedo. 
Looking at him, my knees went weak.
"You look beautiful." He said as he walked towards me.
His arms snaked around my waist and he placed his lips on mine.
"I'm nervous Jungkook." I told him. 
"Don't be, I'm right here." He said as he took my hand in his and we walked out of the door.

It was the first time I saw his private jet. I was completely mesmerized but at the same time, intimidated. 
We reached Busan in about an hour. During the flight, Jungkook was telling me more about his parents, trying to make me feel comfortable and less nervous.

I held Jungkook's hand as we walked in his house, no wait, his mansion. 
His mother greeted us. She hugged Jungkook and then hugged me. 
Jungkook walked over to his dad to hug him.
"You look very pretty dear." Mrs.Jeon said as she held my hand. 
"You too Mrs. Jeon, I love your dress." I said, already feeling comfortable. 
"Y/N it's good to see you!" Mr.Jeon walked over to us.
"Hello, Mr. Jeon." I said as I bowed my head.
"Let's eat, shall we?" Mrs.Jeon said.
 As we sat at the dinner table, all my worries seemed to have faded away. 

After dinner, me and Jungkook sat in the living room, watching television.
"Y/N, could you come here please?" Mrs. Jeon called out from upstairs. 
"I'll be right there." I said as I stood up.
I gave a confused look to Jungkook but he just giggled and patted my ass as I walked past him and made my way to the staircase. 

Upon reaching Mr. and Mrs. Jeon's bedroom, I knocked on the open door.
"Can I come in?" I asked. 
"Yes dear, come in." Mrs. Jeon signaled me to go near her. 
She took my hand in hers and placed a necklace in my hand.
"It's beautiful, what's this for?" I asked, confused. 
"My mother in law gave it to me when she thought I was the one for Jungkook's father. So now you're the new owner of this beauty." She said, smiling.
I blushed and looked down. 
"I know you're the one for Jungkook. I can't wait to see you guys get married and have lots of children." She winked and looked behind me.
I followed her gaze and there stood Jungkook, leaning against the door, smiling cheekily. 

*The Next Day* 

I woke up to see Jungkook staring at me as he sat beside me on the bed. 
"Morning'!" He said cheekily.
"I'm still in shock over what happened yesterday." I told him as I sat up.
"You know I want to marry you right?" He said as he cupped my cheeks.
"Yes, I want to marry you too but whenever we talked about it, it was like talking about the future, but after yesterday, it feels so near.
"Everything will be okay, I'm right here." He said as he hugged me tightly. 

*Later that day*

We reached Seoul around 6 pm, It felt good to be back home. 
We were relaxing on the couch watching a drama when Jungkook's phone rang. 
"WHAT?!" He said as he got up. His jaw clenched as he started pacing back and forth while talking on the phone.
After ending the call, he immediately turned on the news. 

Breaking News: Famous Businessman and Restauranteur, Owen Lee who was arrested for money laundering, blackmail, and illegal money has been granted bail this morning. In the interview taken right after he was released, Lee thanked his employees, his family and most importantly, his girlfriend for their support.

"Girlfriend? How does that jerk have a girlfriend?" I blurted out.
"I know right?" Jungkook responded. 
I looked at him, I could tell he was angry.

"He better not mess with me, again." Jungkook said, sternly, as he stared at the television.
