Fear No More

Jungkook's P.O.V
My eyes felt heavy as I woke up but immediately relaxed as I saw the beauty sleeping next to me with her arm and leg clinging to my body.
She is so beautiful, her thick brown hair complemented her beautiful face. I brushed a few strands of hair away from her face.
I have only known her for a few days now but it feels like I have known her since forever. I want her to be mine. I decided I'll ask her to be my girlfriend today.
But first, I will bring some delicious breakfast for my soon to be lovely girlfriend.
I shook my head, smiling, what does she do to me? She brings out the cheesy guy in me.
I wrote a note and kept it on the bedside table and left to get breakfast.

Y/N's P.O.V
I woke up stretching my arms wide as I yawned. Cold air hit my body making me shiver and that's when I realized I'm wearing nothing but a big loose t-shirt and panties. I smelled his scent on his t-shirt and mind went off to time travel to last night. Ugh, his touch was so good. Speaking of which, where is he? I looked for my phone on the bedside table and found a note next to it.

Babe, I'm going home and then out to get us some breakfast, will be back soon. Hope you're hungry, because I am. For you. - Your Kookie x

I blushed and stuffed my face on the pillow. BABE?! Aaaah!
This feeling that I get with Jungkook is something I have never felt before.
I quickly did my morning routine and went to the kitchen and set up our dining table.
The door handle turned and I ran to him as he put the keys down along with the breakfast on the table next to him and hugged me tightly.
"Good morning beautiful" he whispered in my ear.
"H-hi there?" I replied, blushing. Hi there? Seriously Y/N? *mental facepalm* "
"I figured my foodie wife must be starving so I brought some breakfast." he said as he took me to the dining table. He brought my favorite sandwich along with my favorite coffee.
"You remembered, thanks!" I said as I started eating.
We ate in silence, occasionally stealing glances at one another.
"Would you like to go for a movie with me?" he spoke, breaking the silence.
"Sure I'd love to." I smiled big. It had been a long time since I went to see a movie on the big screen.
"Okay I'll pick you up at 7. I gotta go now, I have some work with Yoongi hyung. Oh and that reminds me, he said he will visit you tomorrow by the way." he said as he got up and put on his jacket.
"Finish everything or else daddy will punish you." he said and winked at me.
He almost walked towards the door before turning back and walking towards me, "Forgot something" he said and kissed me passionately. He pulled back and rubbed the back of his hand on my cheek while looking into my eyes.
"I love you Y/N" he said and kissed me again. Before I could answer, there was knock on the door. He opened it to reveal Keira. Way to interrupt a moment K! Great timing, I sighed.
"Hey I'll catch up with you later, in a rush now." he said to her as he walked out the door.
"See you tonight babe!" he said and ran away.
I stood there waiting for Keira to react or tease me and I was so damn right.
"Babe huh? How was last night?" she asked with a smirk.
"I got news for you; we didn't do it." I said and smirked back at her.
"But I do know you got some action last night" she moved her eyebrows pointing towards my neck.
I ran into my room in front of the mirror and saw hickeys travelling from my jaw to my collarbone. She followed me and sat on my bed.
"He's falling for you Y/N. I can tell by the way he speaks about you, the way his eyes become soft whenever I take your name and the way he kept asking me about you when we first met." she said looking at me with a genuine smile.
"I'm falling too K but I'm afraid." I said as tears crept in my eyes.
She walked over to me and hugged me, trying to calm me down.
"Y/N what happened in the past is in the past. You have to let people in, especially Jungkook. Fear no more." she said as she rubbed my back.
"Yes, I guess I'll talk to him tonight and tell him everything." I said as I pulled away and held her hands "Thanks". She nodded.

I sat on my bed with my laptop, going over my food and travel blog. Then I wrote some articles for the magazine that I work for about my experiences in Paris and French cuisine.
I didn't realize when the time went by but I peeked at the time on my laptop and it was 6 already. I sprang up from the bed and rushed to get ready.
I wore a red loose t-shirt along with high-waist shorts. Only put on some lip gloss, no makeup.
I looked at myself in the mirror. Suddenly I saw myself differently. I looked genuinely happy. What changed? Did he change me? Was I ready for this?
All kinds of thought crept up in my brain.
But the loudest ones were only the good thoughts of Jungkook.
And I thought of him as I awaited his arrival.
