Teddy POV

I grip Vicky's hand as we step inside a frat party. This guy in my economics class told me about the party they were throwing after the game.

Once we finished with my parents we came straight over here.

I find Lucas in the corner with a beer and he is talking to a girl.

"Hey guys." He pulls me in for a bro hug. "Vicky. This is my girlfriend Sam."

She sticks her hand out and Sam grabs it. "Nice to meet you."

"I'm going to go get us drinks Babe."

"Okay I'll just stay and talk to Sam."

I kiss her on the cheek. Lucas and I head over to the kitchen.

"So I didn't know you were in a committed relationship." I raise my brows then reach for a beer for me and a wine cooler for Vick.

"Well things happen."

"That's for sure."

"Tonight was crazy but remember those things happen for a reason."

I laugh. "Well it was sure as hell great to see you finally catch a touchdown."

"Hey shut up freshman. You still got a lot to learn. Especially not to leave your girl alone at a party."

He points over to where we left Vicky and Sam.

Vicky POV

Teddy and Lucas walk away as Sam and I are talking.

"You know I am not such a fan of these parties."

"Well I'm new to these but I can agree to that."

We talk a bit more but Sam leaves to use the restroom.

I look around but stop when I feel someone walk up to me.

"Hey. What's a girl like you doing here?"

A typical frat boy (exactly how you imagine him to be) is standing beside me. The smell of alcohol is burning my eyes.

"What do you mean a girl like me?"

"An art student. Most of them hang out with each other at their own little parties."

"I'm here with my boyfriend."

"Oh well I was willing to let it slide if I could take your pretty little ass upstairs but you have a boyfriend."

I step back as he continues to come closer to me.

"But then again boyfriends haven't stopped me before."

I turn in disgust and just as he is about to grab my waist, I hear Teddy.

"I'm excuse me. I'm going to give you the count of three to take your hands off her."

"Calm down freshie and get out of here."

"One. Two. Three."

Ted grabs his shirt and yanks him down to the ground. Then gets on top of him. Punches him once. Then grips his shirt.

"Watch yourself next time. Don't ever go near my girlfriend."

Teddy gets up and grabs my waist and practically drags me out.

He orders an Uber really fast.

"That was so hot. You know that?"

"Oh really?" He pulls me closer.

"Mhmm. Next time can you let me try to handle it first? I am not a damsel I'm distress."

"I know you aren't but I don't like the way he was looking at you."

"Let's just forget about it." The Uber pulls up and we get in. "My apartment or yours?"

"Mine. Then we can sleep in and not hear the sounds of Emily getting up for her morning run."

On the way we chat about his family and his childhood.

"My father used to not want any kids and then he met my mom. She was honestly his savior." He looks at our joined hands.

"Was he in pain before her?"

He shakes his head. "Nothing physically but he was a very dark separate man." He smiles at me.

"I used to think I would never find a love as great as theirs. I always told myself that I would keep dating girls until I knew I found the one then I would stop."

He looks into my eyes. "I hope your the one who makes me stop."

"Teddy I hope I am too." I lean in and peck his lips then lean into his arms more as we ride home.

Hey guys. I honestly dreaded finishing this chapter cause I can't think of what to write.

I am trying to start keeping up with it though. I have been reading lots of fanfics lately so hopefully I can stay on top of it.

How have you been though guys?
