Me and Taehyung hadn't spoken much since he stormed off, but then again neither had the others. I studied myself in the mirror as I placed the diamond earrings in my ear, which apparently were a gift. This certainly wasn't the kind of life I had planned out for myself when I was just a child and to be honest I was sick and tired of following other people's orders."You look nice," Taehyung eyes me from the doorframe he was leaning on. His voice makes me jump and I look up at him through the reflection of the mirror. "Nice? Is that the best you can do," I scoff, turning my back on the mirror only to come face to face with him again.
"I'm not in the mood for an argument Hanna, just take the compliment," he speaks lowly. It didn't take a lot to annoy Taehyung these days. Ever since the Mina situation he'd been even easier to piss off. No one dared to approach him or even try talking to him when he was in a mood, which was more often than not. I still didn't know what had happened but I would find out eventually, either through one of the others or Taehyung himself.
"You? Not in the mood for an argument? That's new," I mutter under my breath as I brush past him as he stood in the middle of the room with his hands in his pockets. The look Taehyung sends my way through the reflection of the mirror suggests he had heard me. He takes his hands out of his pockets and advances towards me with long strides. His hands fall to rest on my hips, caressing the skin hidden underneath the material of my dress. "Stop being a brat Hanna, you look fucking gorgeous. Now come on, we have to go," Taehyung kisses my cheek and drags me out of the room and down to the bottom floor. My head spun slightly, Taehyung's actions only leaving me with more questions than answers.
He guides me out to the familiar car that was waiting for us. As usual, I clamber into the backseat as he walks around to the other side to get in beside me. "Why am I the one who has to do all the dirty work for you?" I ask a little irritated as the driver pulls away. Deep down I was absolutely terrified for tonight. We had gone over the plan hundreds of times and Taehyung had even formulated backup plans in case anything went wrong, but that didn't make me feel any better.
"Because you're the only one who will get into that club now stop complaining," Taehyung rolls his eyes but continues to draw shapes with his finger on the back of my hand which was resting on the empty seat between us.
"Why couldn't Mina have done it?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. I'd figured now was my time to subtly ask about her. Taehyung couldn't walk away from me or avoid the question now he was sat in a car with little to no escape options. There's no response. He rests his elbow on the window, looking out of it as we travel further into the city. The streetlights light up Taehyung's features, allowing me to clearly see the expression on his face. I couldn't tell if he was mad or genuinely hurt. It was probably both.
"Why doesn't she come round anymore?" I ask one last time, knowing if I didn't get an answer now it was unlikely I ever would. As much as I wanted to know what had happened, there were other ways I could find out without constantly pestering Taehyung.
"Because she is no longer associated with me or any one of us, that's all you need to know." After a short drive the car comes to a stop by the side of a busy road. I look out of the window to see a huge, brightly lit building. A large red carpet extended up to the top of the stairs where two men stood, both extremely built, their chest and arm muscles clearly defined underneath the tight tops they wore. I take a deep breath, about to open the door before Taehyung places his hand on my knee. "Hanna. Be careful," he warns quietly. His eyes sparkle as the city lights reflect off of them and his bottom lip glistens as he licks over it briefly with his tongue. He lowers his head to place a small kiss on the top of my head before I get out of the car which had deliberately been parked at an angle so Taehyung wouldn't be seen.
