Here, I repackaged all the things you took from me:
The heart you tried to smash just the night before.
The clothes, discarded, forgotten on my floor.
The sweet words you whispered, now turned sour.
And the box has a bow on it.Is this what you asked for?
Author's Note
Today's dedication goes to the very special TiffanyBailey385 because she said my book has really been keeping her company this quarantine and I appreciate that. I find that the books that keep us company in the most stressful of times are the ones that mean the most to us. So, thank you for your support!
I'm officially finished with school, readers. I just handed in my final essay and now I'm excited to engage in some creative works I wasn't able to before. I hope you are using this quarantine to do something that means a lot to you as well. It's a stressful time but that means that now more than ever we should make room for the things that remind us we are alive.
