You allowed me to kiss all the places
Except your neck.
And we both played our part in masking your words as a
Concern for inappropriateness.
We decorated the awkwardness with
A substitute kiss elsewhere,
Concealed the secret with more secrets
Embellished the lie with more lies
Until we forgot it had ever happened. But when you left and
All the things we had built together came crashing down,So did this:
You were ashamed of more than my bruise. Now, I am ashamed of yours
Author's Note
This week's dedication goes to Midnight_Writer101 because they're an aspiring writer and left such a nice comment on the last poem! Thank you for supporting me. My #1 advice for you guys who want to write on Wattpad is to write stories you would want to read. If you guys vote/comment the next dedication could be you!
What are your guys' thoughts on this book so far?
