(3) Nashville to LA

Y/N POV: 

I woke up to the alarm blaring in my ear. Ryland's arms were wrapped around my waist and his head was tucked under my chest, which I was used to. I played with Ryland's hair for a bit and then I rolled out of his grasp and onto the floor. 

"UGHHH! Why'd you do that?" Ryland moaned rolling over so he was looking over the edge of the bed at me. 

"We have to catch a flight, stupid." I laughed, pulling him out of the covers. 

"Bitch." He said rolling onto the floor. 

I walked over to my closet and grabbed a pair of black leggings, a blue champion crew neck, and my nike air force 1s. I changed in the middle of the room while Ryland made the bed and got both of our suitcases together. 

"Aren't you going to change?" I asked Ryland, seeing that he was now sitting on my bed on his phone and in the same clothes that he wore to bed. 

"No. I'm comfy and now I get to smell like you." He responded, shooting me a sleepy smile. 

"Well if you want to smell like me so bad, here." I said, spraying him with my perfume. He spit a little bit and shot me a death stare. "You aren't supposed to eat the perfume, idiot."

"It doesn't help when you spray it right in my face." He complained. Then I heard a beep outside. I checked my phone, it read 3:00. 

"Right on time." I said, grabbing Ryland and my suitcases and heading down the stairs to the foyer. 

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the two $50 sitting on the counter from my mom. I then opened the fridge and grabbed two dunkin mocha iced coffees from the pack. 

"Catch" I said, throwing one at Ryland who was standing on the porch, waiting for me. 

He caught it and looked at me. "You're a life saver." He said. 

"I know." I smirked and we both rolled out suitcases over to the taxi. 

**30 mins later, at the Nashville Airport**

"Thank you driver!" I said, handing him a 50 dollar bill. He nodded and sped off. 

"Alright, let's go check in and get our tickets." Ryland said, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the airport. 

We dropped our bags off at the bag check and got our tickets. After what felt life forever, we finally finished going through customs and security. We both collapsed into some two seats in front of our gate. 

"Bruh we literally have 10 minutes before we can board. Nicely done!" Ryland laughed and we high-fived. 

We just chilled for a bit until a voice came over the intercom, telling us to board. Ryland and I boarded and found our seats. The row we were in was 2 seats only so it was just to two of us.

"Window or aisle?" Ryland asked, looking at me.

"Window please." I smiled, getting in first. Ryland settled in next to me and I got a bottle of water out of my bag and took a sip. Then I offered him the bottle. He took it gladly and drained the rest of the liquid inside. 

I saw Ryland take his laptop out of his carry-on and pulled out his earbuds. He offered me one of the earbuds and said, "Ratatouille?" 

"I thought you'd never ask." I laughed and took the ear bud. 

Take off was easy and the flight was going well. After we finished Ratatouille, Ryland started watching Up and I fell asleep on his shoulder. 

**Time Skip 4 hours and 15 mins**

I was awoken by Ryland shaking me shoulder, gently. 

"Hey, y/n, we are landing in 10-15 minutes. Are you excited?" Ryland asked.

"Heck yes! I'm so excited." I responded, stretching. "Were you able to catch and Zs?"

"Yeah, for a while. Then after Up was over, I think it automatically went to The Incredibles so that kinda woke me up I guess." He replied. 

"So what are we going to do first?" I asked my best friend. 

"Well first, we need to obviously go to the Hype House to check in with everyone, drop our stuff off and get settled in. But if we have any extra time, we'll see what we can do." Ryland said. 

"Thanks so much for this, Ry. It means so much to me and now I get to spend even more time with my bff." I giggled, laying my head on his shoulder. 

"Anytime, y/n. You mean everything to me and your happiness is the most important thing to me. I'm glad to have you as my best friend." He said, stroking my hair. 

After a while, we landed and got off the plane. We had to wait a bit to get our luggage, but other than that, it was a pretty chill airport experience. 

Ryland was looking at his phone. "Alex and Kouvr are here I guess to pick us up so we won't have to get a cab." 

"Great!" I smiled. 

We walked outside to the car that was waiting for us. Alex rolled down the window and he was holding a vlog camera up. "Get in losers! We're going shopping!" He yelled and rolled the window back up. 

I got into the back seat with Kouvr and Ryland joined Alex up front. Before we could go anywhere, Alex did some introductions. "SOOO, everyone. This is of course, Ryland. We have a new comer though! This is y/n." Alex said into the camera before pointing it at me. 

"Alex don't bombard her with vlogs on her first day!" Kouvr said, rolling her eyes. She then looked at me and pulled me into a tight hug. "Hi, y/n! You probably already know that that's Alex. I'm his girlfriend, Kouvr." She smiled. 

"I figured." I laughed. "It's so nice to meet your guys finally. Ryland loves to talk about 'Alex and Kouvr's Shenanigans'." 

"They are mostly Kouvr's shenanigans. I'm just brought into them by association." Alex said as he drove through the LA streets. 

"Yes but you love me." Kouvr said, sticking out her tongue. 

The drive to the Hype House was about 45 minutes with the LA traffic. Ryland and Alex caught up on what Ryland missed over the past week while Kouvr and I talked about the Hype House.

"So basically just remember. The boys are Alex, Ryland, Thomas, Chase, Nick, Tony, Ondreaz, Larray, the twins Jack and James, Hootie, Patrick, Calvin, Connor and Wyatt. Larray, Hootie, Wyatt and Patrick don't do much though so you may or may not see much of them." Kouvr explained to me. 

"Ok. So really remember Alex, Ryland, Thomas, Chase, Nick, Tony, Ondreaz, Jack, James, Connor and Calvin?" I asked. 

"Yep!" Kouvr said. "And the girls are me, Charli, Dixie, Addison, Avani and probably you." 

"Woah, a lot less girls." I chuckled to myself. 

"Haha, yeah." Kouvr said as we pulled up to the house. 

"Woah!" I said looking around as I got out of the car.

"You ready?" Ryland asked, looking at me and smiling. 

"Ready as I'll ever be." I responded. 

Suddenly, a shorter girl ran out of the front doors and jumped on Ryland. "RYLAND! BRO I MISSED YOU!" she screamed, tackling him to the ground. I walked over and laughed, offering them both a hand to get up. 

"You must be y/n, right?" Avani asked, pulling me into a very tight hug. 

"Hah, yep!" I confirmed. 

"Fuck yeah! Another girl haaah!" Avani giggled.
