(4) the hype house

AN: alrighty here we goooo!

Y/N POV

Ryland and I grabbed our bags and walked to the front door of the house. Kouvr and Alex went in first, followed by me and then Avani and Ryland. Ryland and I stood in the entry way as Alex, Kouvr and Avani joined the group coming over to greet us.

"Ryland!!!" Someone screamed running forward, picking up my bff and spinning him around. 

"Nick! I missed you bro!" Ryland said when Nick put him down. I got a good look at Nick. I had literally just seen him and I got butterflies in my stomach. He was so cute.

I giggled and that seemed to get Ryland's attention. 

"Hey everyone, this is y/n. She is my absolute best friend front Nashville." Ryland said, wrapping his arm around my waist. 

"Woah." I heard from Nick's direction and Ryland turned to looked at him. He pointed his pointer and middle finger at his eyes and then at Nick's. Nick looked embarrassed and I hid my face in Ryland's chest. 

"What are you guys, like dating?" A guy with curly, dark brown hair asked.

"No Tony. I literally just said she's my best friend. We grew up together, we are like siblings." Ryland said and I smiled at him. 

"Well, welcome to the Hype House!" A taller guy with black hair said. "It's great to have another girl, here!" 

Ryland introduced me to everyone and they all seemed really nice. I especially liked Nick. He seemed like such a goofball and was really cute.

After the introductions, Ryland and I went to get our stuff to bring to our room. I was about to grab my bag when another hand grabbed the handle and picked it up.

I looked up and it was Nick. "I got it." He said and winked at me then started for the stairs. 

Nick, Ryland and I reached their room and I was appalled to say the least by how messy it was. 

"Boys, why is the so dirty?" I asked, scrunching up my nose. 

"You got a problem with dirty things?" Nick asked, smirking. I rolled my eyes and Ryland laughed. 

"Don't laugh at me, Ry." I said, with a blank expression. 

"Haha I'm sorry." He said. I rolled my eyes again. "She is kinda a neat freak though."

"Hah, yeah... kinda." I said, unzipping my suitcase. 

"See? Even you think that you are a neat freak!" Ryland exclaimed. "When I'm at home with her in Nashville, Nick, she makes me make the bed and due the dishes."

"Because move the most in bed and use the most dishes, idiot!" I said, laughing. "Nick, Ryland, where can I put my clothes?" 

"My drawers are full, so I don't have any room. Nick?" Ryland said. 

"I have room in the walk-in closet." Nick said, motioning for me to follow him. 

Nick helped me unpack all of my clothes and put them into the closet. He seems like a really nice and sweet guy. 

"Haha, you and Ryland seem like you would make a good couple." Nick says, hanging up one of my champion crew necks. 

"That's what everyone says. But he and I are such close friends, it would be weird. We have such a tight, sibling-like relationship." I said, folding the last of my jeans and zipping up my suitcase. 

"Gotcha. That's cool though. Ya know, that you two have that kinda relationship." Nick responded. I nodded. "So, I'm just assuming then that you aren't in a relationship?"

"Nope, I'm not. I haven't dated in a long time." I laughed to myself. "You?"

"That's a mood. And same, I'm a single pringle." He half smiled and I blushed a little bit. He stood up and offered me his hand and I took it. 

"Ay, what are y'all up to in here?" Ryland asked walking in the closet. He saw that I was still holding Nick's hand and I pulled mine away. 

"Wow, y/n, not even 2 hours and you're already making moves on Nicky Poo, here." Ryland joked, scratching Nick's head. 

"Fuck off, Ry." I said and walked out of the closet. I collapsed onto Ryland and my bed and started scrolling through tik tok. I followed everyone in the Hype House and noticed that some of them had already followed me from the day before. 

"Hey, Nick, y/n, I'm going downstairs to get a bang." Ryland said walking out of the room. 

"RYLAND GET ME ONE TOO!" I called after him. 

"DITTO!" Nick screamed as he emerged from the closet. He walked over my bed and laid right next to me so that our shoulders were touching. 

"Whatcha doin', y/n?" Nick asked, looking at my phone. I was scrolling through his account so I dropped my phone on my chest so he couldn't see. 

"Nothinggg." I said, hoping he didn't see. He then grabbed my phone off of my chest. 

"What's your password?" He asked, looking at me. 

"Who are you that I tell you my password?" I asked.

"Nicholas Samuel Austin, bitch." He said. "Now tell me your password."

"Woah, woah, woah. I'm no bitch." I giggled. "And no." Then Nick started to aggressively tickle my sides. I was laughing so hard. "Nick! I-I'm not - haha- telling you m-m-my pass - haha- word." 

I tried to stand up but Nick tackled me back onto the bed. He pinned down my arms up next to my head. He face was just inches away from mine. 

"Hey." Nick said, smirking and winking at me. 

"H-hi." I said, smiling like an idiot. 

"What's the password, y/n?" He asked again, still super close to me. 

"8792." I gasped not knowing what else to say. He unpinned my arms and rolled off of me, standing up. "You flirt."

"Damn straight." He giggled, looking at me. "Thanks for the password. I'll write it down, next time I want to confirm you were stalking through my tik tok page." He commented, holding up my phone so that the screen was facing me.

"I-I wasn-" I started. But Nick interrupted me.

"It's okay, y/n! It's cute." He said, smirking at me. Then Ryland walked back into the room with 3 Bangs in his arms, handing Nick and I one.

"Sorry that took a little while. Kouvr made me go on a scavenger hunt along with Tony and Ondreaz to find all the Bang which she hid under her and Alex's bed."

Nick and I both laughed. I stood up and held out my arms and Ryland wrapped me in a tight hug and then picked me up, throwing me back on the bed. 

"Alright, now we all have to go downstairs for a meeting. Sorry, Thomas just told me. Let's go!" Ryland said, pulling me up from the bed and dragging me out of our room, Nick following closely behind. 

I looked behind me and made eye contact with Nick and he winked at me. I just blushed like a crazy teenage girl.
