Vampire troubles (Fairy Tail x Vampire Knight)

Chapter 12 - Kidnapped

*Natsu's POV*

After I leaved Erza's house. I didn't know where to go. I can't go back to the guild, I haven't finished the request we're doing at the moment. I mean Makarov isn't waiting for his mages coming back to the guild without even finishing their request.

Go back to Lizzy and Gray? I don't know. I have promised Lizzy I come back after I finished my stuff with Erza, and since that is done now I can go back, but Gray would not be grateful at all.

So I headed back home. I need a shower. Clear things up. I Need to refresh my mind.

I turned on the warm water, let it stream down my cold, pale skin. Thinking about what Erza said.

What does that Lyon guy want from us anyway? He is a vampire hunter so I guess he already knows that I'm a vampire. And if not, he will sense it later for sure. I know how it works. First they are gonna be all nice and all and then they attack you from out of nowhere. l bet I'm not the first he is chasing after.

Because that's their goal; to kill vampires. I don't get it, it all. I mean we as vampires aren't that bad are we? 

I guess the world doesn't see it like that.

Who am I kidding? We as vampires are monsters, hiding ourselves in a human body.

I stepped out of the shower as I closed the tap. Taking a towel and dried my hair. I dried the rest of my body and let the towel hang on my waist as I watched my mirror view. I am a monster.

I opened one of my drawers, taking out my blood tablets. I need food but I don't want to eat those fake stuff. I want real blood. 

But thinking about what Erza had said, I have to do it with the medication I have. Fucking Blood tablets.. How much I hate them I have to eat it. 

I took a glass out off the cubicle above the sink, letting the pill dissolve in the cold water. Watching the colour change to a crimson red shade. 

I brought the glass to my mouth, taking a slug of the liquid. It didn't taste that bad, but it still was fake. 

I took another sip, finishing my meal. Then I left my house, making my way to Lizzy and Gray. 

As a member of Fairy Tail I have to finish my request.

 As I found the tent we have set up only a day ago, searching for my teammates I found nobody. 

 That's when my sense start to smell something. 

...Blood.

I found Gray sitting in front of the tent. He was putting on a bandage around his chest and shoulder. It seems like he has a bad injury. 

What happened when I was gone? 

My vision starts to get blurry and the only thing I could focus on was the red liquid that laid on Gray's arm, ready to be eaten. 

I swallowed the will to eat and tried to ignore the presence of my new prey. I am not supposed to bite him. 

I bit my lips as my fangs start to extend to their real size. Hoping I would awake out of this phase. 

But it only was getting worse, as my eyes revealed their real colour and I slowly turned into that monster I have always been. 

I breathed slowly trying to relax my body, trying to get myself back together. 

I closed my eyes and swallowed one more time to make sure I was myself again. That I didn't turn into a monster. 

I have already eaten. I remind myself. I've had my meal for today. 

When I opened my eyes everything seems normal. I sighed in relief. That was a scared moment. 

''Natsu?'' I heard Gray's voice wave through my head. I turned around to face him. He was watching me the whole time? I hope not.

I didn't know what to say. 

''Where are you coming from?'' He asked. 

I tried to put on a smile. ''We are a team, right? I thought it would be nice to help the rest of the team.''

He looked at me with a blank expression in his face. ''If we are a team, then why did you leave us?'' He huffed.

I looked at him, not knowing what to say. He was right, kind of. I mean I did leave them, when I actually should help them with the request. But I have my reasons for it. The thing is that people don't understand. Humans don't understand.

''Business.'' Was all I said after a long time of silence. I can't tell him what I've talked about with Erza.

He looked at me like I was doing some drugs. ''Had some trouble with Makarov, right?'' He commented blankly. Lizzy must have told him. 

''Yeah, but we talked it out.'' I said trying to make this a good conversation. ''And what happened with you?'' I said referring to his injuries. Trying to change the subject. I mean he doesn't have to know about what I've been doing.

''Lyon..'' He paused. ''Lyon he kidnapped Lizzy, and I couldn't do anything to stop him.'' He stared at the ground, looking ashamed. ''He was too strong, I tried to save her but failed.'' He said truthfully.

Why is there always something going on when I'm not around?

Gray tried to stand up but fell directly back to the ground. ''Are you alright?'' I asked him.

He closed his eyes, biting his lip, trying not to cry out in pain. ''No, I am not.''

I feel bad for him, especially for Lizzy. I should have come earlier. I never should have leaved in the first place. If I didn't leave then everything would be okay. Gray and I should have taken Lyon down and we would finish this fucking request and we would be back in the guild by now.

But here we are now... Reality is being a bitch again. 

''But I have to get Lizzy back, I have to know if she is okay. I'm gonna take Lyon down.'' He breathed out.

''Are you serious? I mean look at yourself, you can barely stand. I am going on my own.'' 

''But..''

''I care about her as much as you do.''

''Yeah, but what if something is going to happen to you? Then you are both in trouble. Who's gonna save you then?''

''We will think about that later, Lizzy needs us now.'' I said.

''Take care of yourself, don't be a hero.'' And with that been said I leaved, making my way to Lizzy.

New update!!! Yeeey, long time no updates, I've been busy so no time for updates.

But here is the new one!! I think it's poop and boring but the next will be great.

Also that pic on the side doesn't fit in the story but I'm random and put that just there for you guys.
