"We need to go to the Great Centaur now!" Heron said turning around quickly
"Wait," I said trying to catch up to him,
"Get on my back," Zelpha said, immediately transforming into a Centaur. I hurriedly climbed her as she followed him. At our speed, it didn't take long before we reached the library.
"Have you also noticed the two moons," Heron asked
"Yes, you need to hurry; If all the moons disappear, I fear that it would be too late," he replied
"How long do we have?" Zelpha asked looking more worried than usual
"We have 10 days, tops,"
"So we need to get everything we need tomorrow and leave for the Uncharted Meadows," I said anxiously,
"We already have a fairy, we can look for an Arachne and a nymph tomorrow, If we split up, we can get more done," Zelpha replied
"That's a good idea, I'll go with Phoebus to see Lucretius, the Necromancer," Heron said looking at me, I noticed his eyes shone brighter in the dark
"That's a good idea," I said looking back at him,
"I'll go with Irene to look for a Nymph and an Arachne,"
"Good luck," the Great Centaur said
We hurried back home and I couldn't fall asleep, my mind filled with questions as I turned around in Heron's uncomfortable bed. Could we make it in time or would we fail, what if one of us dies, am I the cause of the problem, would I have to kill or hurt someone or something.
"Can't sleep?" Heron said as we walked into the room,
"You too? my mind can't rest, even though I'm really tired," I said
"Me too, I'm going for a trot ... or walk, you should rest, you are going to need your energy," he said
"Alright, be safe," I said, wondering whether criminal activities were common in Ethermoore. I woke up feeling as if I slept for only 2 hours, I noticed Heron was still asleep.
"Wake up," I said drowsily, he quickly opened his eyes and shook himself awake
"Zelpha should still be sleeping by now, I'm going to wake her up," He said straightening himself
"I'll follow you, I need something to wake me up properly," I said
"Alright," he said, clearly not wanting me to follow him but too tired to argue,
"Okay, her cottage isn't close so you'll need to keep up," I walked outside and noticed it was raining rather heavily. The rain made everywhere look dull and was cold, but it was just what I needed to wake up. The third moon was still inexistent, and something felt different. We went hurriedly to Zelpha's cottage and noticed she was already outside by the time we got there. Her cottage was almost as big as Heron's cottage, it had the same color but a lot of flowers crept around the walls which made the cottage sparkle.
"We were about to wake you," Heron said
"I'm already awake," she replied energetically
"Are you leaving to see Irene now?" I asked
"Yes, she's meeting me at the food joint,"
"Is Lucretius's cottage going to be open now?" Heron asked
"Lucretius's cottage is always open, tell him I recommended you and you should be good"
"Alright let's go, My clothes are getting wet and I'm tired of standing in the rain,"
