I woke up more refreshed than I had imagined I would. However, my body was sore from the fight with the scorpion king, and I felt like my ears were going to drop anytime soon. Everyone was still asleep, and then I realized it was still dark. However, many little creatures were already awake and they usually stay quiet when it's late;
"Wait, it shouldn't be this dark," I whispered to myself,
"Guys!" I shouted as I looked up, lo and behold, the second moon was gone, and all that was left was the one moon which managed to brighten the forest but wasn't enough
"What is it, it's late," Heron said in an annoyed tone, he's body was clearly also sore from yesterday's battle;
"It isn't late, the second moon is gone," I felt my heart racing like the last time, but this time, it was up to us to stop this, and we needed to stop it; Fast.
"Oh no, Wake up!" Heron shouted,
"What happened?" Zelpha said, forcing herself awake,
"The second moon is gone, we need to hurry, if we don't make it in time, everything we did would be for nothing,"
"How close are we the heart?" Quintus asked, staring at where the two moons used to be,
"We're close, it's not far from here, but we need to be fast but stealthy, if we make the wrong turn, it could take days before we get back on track" Heron replied
"We already used the invisibility potions, how are we going to be stealthy?" I asked, a little worried
"We'll do it the old fashioned way," Zelpha replied,
"We need to save the night-vision potion because it looks like we are going to arrive there by dark," Quintus said while looking at the map on Heron's hand
"Let's pack up,"
"I wonder how the beings in Ethermoore are handling this," I said to myself. We continued our journey deeper into the forest and as we got closer, everywhere seemed darker and more depressing than before;
"How dangerous do you think the yin being would be?" I asked in an attempt to start a conversation
"It should be stronger than anything we've encountered since we've gotten here," Irene said, she had been quiet all this time that I almost forgot she was here,
"Imagine everything we've fought or come across into one evil being," Zelpha added
"So why is the yang being also where everything is forbidden instead of somewhere where everywhere is pure?"
"The yin and yang have to be in proximity to each other. If they aren't, they both get weak and so does magic," Irene replied
"What caused the yin to get stronger?"
"Why so many questions?" Zelpha joked,
"We'll be alright, as long as we have you and your dagger,"
"Shh," Quintus said, signaling us to move slower,
"Something is close," he whispered,
"What is it?" Florus whispered,
"So you all are the reason why both moons are gone," something said behind us, could it be another minotaur; my heart rate quickened as I turned around slowly.
"You again," Heron said with an exhausted tone, it was the Cyclops that confronted us on our way to Lucretius's cottage and at the food joint,
"Did you follow us? How did you even survive out here?" I said furiously,
