"On the first of June, around 9:30 p.m., you entered the school swimming pool. Marina was there. You had an increasingly heated argument... until you picked up the trophy, and hit her on the back of the head with it. She did not die instantly, which means you left her there... bleeding to death. This is what we believe happened, and more importantly, what the judge believes happened. Do you have anything to say in your defense?"

Juan immediately looked up from the table with an illegible expression even in the eyes of the inspector before lifting his chin seriously."Yeah... four words. I.  Didn't. Kill. Her."

"Then who did?" Cristina asked immediately, clearly frustrated with the imperturbable calm of the brown."Angel?"

Simple raised eyebrows.

"Luz? "

Again, a simple unimpressed raised eyebrow.

Cristina paused at the thought of the last member of the group before looking back into her notes. She leafed through the other depositions before turning her eyes back to the imperturbable brown."And this watch. Have you found it?"

Juan glanced at his lawyer before turning to Cristina again at the sight of the silent man's nod. Juan wrinkled his lips before taking a deep breath as he swallowed.

He crossed his arms on the table as he absently played with his thumbs hating every moment of the character he was representing before looking up at the redhead obviously becoming impatient with his silence.

"You hang on to everything you can."Juan said, tilting his head to the side."But you probably already have a suspect at this stage of the investigation. Am I wrong? Who is it ? Samuel?"

Cristina left a slight incredulous smile."What makes you think I'm going to tell you about the progress of the investigation?"

Juan took her diversion attempt as an answer. He left an arrogant smile before nodding his head pretentiously.

"Right. He found Marina's body but it can't be him. He's too nice for that."He said falsely thoughtfully before nodding at the redhead, testing her limits."Guzmàn then?"

Cristina sighed as she copied his position before tilting her head in curiosity."Why think directly of Guzmàn and Samuel?"

"Simple factual deductions. But Guzmàn would be too easy. He's impulsive and has violent disorders like Angel. Probably a factor in his adoption if you ask my opinion." Juan commented with phlegm before letting a sigh."Then there is only Nano left. Samuel's brother. But then again it would be too easy. Former detainee? Check. Father of the baby? Check. Reason? Check. Alibi? Mhm ... something tells me you don't have one."

"And you ?" Pierced Cristina impatiently again."What's your alibi?"

Juan paused in spite of himself as he slightly lost his smile before swallowing as he looked up at the redhead.

He glanced over his shoulder at Ivan before sustaining his expressionless gaze as he replied."I told you. I didn't feel well. But if you need an alibi ask Triana. She was with me."
