I am at Lehigh university with Lissa. We are in the last class which is history...*groan*

As her guardian I have to be with her at all times and so I am attending all her classes. Dimitri is guarding Christian back at court.

I can't stop thinking about him. I see so many people dating and it is so annoying. Our friends sometimes ask us why I don't have mine with me, I tell them that he has already graduated from university and is about to finish his masters. They think I am joking and laugh it off when in reality I am married to a guy seven years older than me.

I remember my wedding perfectly. It was the most awesome-est day in my life. My friend Lissa is also married and has a boy named Damon. He is the cutest thing in the world. Sometimes me and Dimitri get to babysit him and it is so fun to have a kid with you. We take care of him as if it's our own child.

And he is very important seeing as he is a little Dragomir. He is always under protection. He has three guardians of his own.

"Rose are you day dreaming again?!?" Asks Mr. Fish, our teacher.

"Sorry Sir. I just can't stop thinking about your children." I say back. I try my best to keep it low profile so that I am not expelled but it isn't my fault he named his family The Fishes.

He glares at me and continues to teach us about the civil war. Ugh, it's so boring!!!

Lissa gives me a look I have became too used to now and shakes her head in exasperation.

Finally I hear the most awesome sound ever, the bell!! Me and Lissa make our way to the gate where our "cousin" is waiting for us.

The cousin is actually a guardian. He always comes to pick us up with one more guardian in the car, waiting.

At least five guardians are in this school. Some got security jobs at this university and some are staff or whatever. They keep a look out for Strigoi.

"Rose!! Did you really have to say that to Mr. Fish?" Says Lissa. "Whaaaat! I am serious. He called himself Mr. Fish." I said innocently.

She shook her head in exasperation. We continued our way to the car where the two guardians were waiting. We got inside, both of us sitting in the back with the guardians in front.

We were half way through when suddenly I saw something move very fast 500 meters away.

"Stop!!!" I screamed. The guardian stopped the car and everyone looked at me questionably.

"Liss, stay in the car!!!" I said and got out. One of the guardians came out as well.

I checked again, and again I saw something moving fast. There was only one person that could do that.

"Ethan..." I said to the guardian next to me, "you go to the east side and I will go west...there's a Strigoi." Lissa gasped.

The other guardian was gonna come out when I said, "No. Stay here Smith, it's a fast one. PROTECT HER!!"

He obliged and I went on my way, with Ethan the other. I reached the area and looked around. I heard something behind me and turned around jumping at whatever it was.

There he was...a Strigoi.

He snarled at me but I went running after him. I started fighting when he said, "You are the one, Rose Hathaway. You're very famous in the Strigoi world. Everyone is looking for you."

"Tell them they should forget me before I kill them. I can sense my fans." I say back.

"Don't worry. We will come to you before you do. An army is on the way and it isn't an army of ten. It is WAY more." He said

My heart stopped. Momentarily I got confused and he slammed me to the tree.

"Get out of court and you're all done. Come yourself to us and they will live." He said smirking. And like that he walked away.

I knew I shouldn't have listened and reported immediately but something was nagging me. I'll keep this to myself...for now.

I walked back trying to ignore the pain in my head. It hurt a little, not so much.

I saw the guardians were looking for me. When they saw me they were relived. Especially Lissa.

She ran out and hugged me, tears at the brim of her eyes.

I told them I had killed one Strigoi and burned it.

They nodded and we went back in the car to court....
