Chapter 4

Pheeeeewwww!!! I am finally done with at least one chapter.

Because of our previous meeting when he had said, "Get out of court and you're all done. Come yourself to us and they will live." I had to concentrate on every word he said and unfortunately he said, "Good luck btw." I knew then that I was in great trouble.

And I don't mean later, I mean right now. As I took a step forward, two Strigoi came in front of me. I guess this guy is gonna try everything in his s*t to make my life hell.

I fought them. I fought them as if I was killing them as if I was face to face with Festus himself. They were down in two minutes.

I took another step and two more came up. NOW I am ANGRY!!! I slashed at them, kicked them, punched them and brought them both down as well. They were done.

I walked back and saw all of them looking around worried. It's a wonder they haven't left. Lissa's face was to die for.

"Wipe that face off of all your faces guys." I said playfully in my earpiece.

They all looked so relieved and also another expression; they were thinking I was crazy? Why?

"Here you are beat up like you fought an army and you're telling us to wipe that expression?" Says Smith.

Oh...That's why...I looked down and noticed myself for the first time. I looked horrible. Well...that's what happens when you fight four Strigoi.

"Well, what happened?" Ethan asked.

"Four. All dead. And burned." was all I said. And went into the car to check on Lissa.

I'm so stupid. She had tears streaming down her face. "O my God Liss!!!" I said.

"Rose, why? Why did you do that? Do you know what happened to me? You just went there all alone and fought four frikin' Strigoi!! Why did you do that!?!?!"

"I'm sorry Lissa. I wanted you safe and I thought that we had to check all sides so I did this. But don't worry, I promise I won't do this again." I made the promise easily because 'this' wouldn't be happening any time soon.

I was seriously close to crying myself. But I had to stay strong for her. I hugged her and stayed in that position till we reached court. Everyone and I mean Everyone was silent.

We reached court and I ordered the extra guardians, "Everyone go to the clinic! And I mean everyone!!!" I said out loud and authoritatively.

"Y...Yes Guardian Belikov." They said nervously.

They all went and I looked at Smith and Ethan. They were fine. They weren't in shock. It's what happens when your job is killing. I nodded at them. They nodded back and went on their way to Han.

I looked at Lissa. She was white. She was so worried about me that she kept on insisting on healing me. I didn't allow her.

I took her to queen housing. Ugh that's weird. Okay, I just hoped Dimitri wasn't there. I know he will chastise me heavily for not going to the clinic first, being in this condition.

Well he shouldn't worry...I'm gonna fix myself as good as possible for tonight.

"Rose...what happened out there?!? You're scaring me deeply!!!" Lissa said after a while.

"Not here..." was all I said.

We reached and Lissa went inside. I heard running. "There you are sweetheart!!!" Says Christian.

I take a deep breath. Unfortunately Dimitri is there. I walk in.

I see Christian looking at Lissa worryingly. He looks at me and gasps. He got it.

Lissa is looking at the ground. "Liss! It's not your fault. Please don't do that!!" I say tired.

"Rose! You look so badly hurt but you refuse to even go to the clinic. Why? What happened?!"

"I'll go. I was making sure you got here to Christian."

"Woah! Rose calling me Christian. This is serious." Christian says.

I glare at Sparky very darkly. He and Lissa go s*t pale.

"Look! I'm going and I WILL report it. Just wait ok. I WILL tell you EVERYTHING!" I scream.

That is when Dimitri comes out of the bathroom. He looks at me worryingly and surprised.

"Dimitri..." I start.

"NO! Not this time. Come here. Let me aid you then you tell us everything." He says in one breath.

I sigh. "Ok." I say.

I go up to him and I sit down on the sofa. Dimitri comes at me with an aid kit. Christian and Lissa are on the other sofa murmuring.

He cleans my wounds which not surprisingly are a lot and deep. They sting badly and I flinch a lot.

After forever he's kinda done seeing as I still hurt as hell.

"Okay...so...what happened?" He says.

"Noth..." I start

"Don't lie!! All details!" He stops me.

"Okay, okay, fine!" I say.

I tell them everything. I told them that the Strigoi threatened like always. And when he ran away he sent two and then two more as back-up. All which I had disposed of effectively. I even went after Festus and killed him was what I told them. I made sure not to tell them his name. All of this I had done and hence my condition.

Dimitri made an expression which I knew ment he will now ask me many questions.

"Why did you go alone when there were many guardians?"

I have to lie...,"I saw there were more on the North and East than West."

"Why All alone? At least one more."

Ugh!!! "The other side had more okay. Next question."

He paused. "What exactly did the Strigoi say?" He says.

That I have to leave you and the ring. That I have to go with a Strigoi that might be a harrasser. That I had to leave my best friend and Sparky. That I won't see you guys from today midnight. That I am in F*ing deep trouble, I thought. Instead I said, "He didn't use any of our names if that's what you mean but, he did say he will kill the Moroi. Oh and this one was totally different bunch of Strigois than the previous attack. These were more."

"Rose, why do I feel as if you're not telling the whole truth. Not lieing, but not everything either."

Shit! Plan B. "Ask me more questions." I sighed.

So they asked and I lied. I lied on everything and they believed me. I almost, almost, hoped they hadn't thought I was telling the truth.

"Okay so I should seriously go to the clinic and get a hell lot of sleep." I was about to go out when I hurriedly turned around and kissed Dimitri like I have never before. I kissed him so hard he was surprised. We both kissed like this for a while.

I let go hesitantly. We looked at each other, eye to eye.

"Sorry for the scare comrade." I smirked.

He laughed. I saw Lissa and Sparky grinning. This almost felt like nothing was wrong.

"See you at my house comrade!" I winked.

He smiled and Lissa and Christian laughed.

I turned around and my face immediately took a sad smile. "Sorry guys. I'll miss you..." I whispered to myself lowly.
