Chapter 3

I woke up with Dimitri next to me. He was sound asleep. He looked so gorgeous. Then again, he looks gorgeous fighting, angry, happy, laughing, sleeping etc etc.

I laughed at that and got up making sure he was asleep as I did. I looked at the time, 7:30am. So half an hour to get ready huh...

I got ready and went on my way to Lissa. I went to her room. She was ready and I saw a cute Sparky sleeping soundly. I looked over at Lissa and giggled. We both started giggling. Sparky turned in his sleep. He put the blanket on his face and took out his hand. I was surprised why he'd do that then his hand lit up on fire.

"Get out!" He said

We both got the message and ran out screaming. We were gonna be late so we had to go fast anyway.

We came to the car and I saw only four extra guardians. I immediately put my hand on the speaker piece in my ear and requested four more. Lissa looked at me like I was crazy. I made a serious face and she understood.

That's right. I remember. I remember exactly what happened and what could happen today...

We were in the last class of Business. And guess what the teacher's name is this time...Mr. Busy...WHAT THE HELL...CAN'T THESE GUYS FIND A NAME????

The bell rang, "Make sure to read the chapter thoroughly and prepare for the test. I don't want bad results, Miss Hathaway?"

In my mind I said, "It's Mrs. Belikov to you Sir!" In actuality I said, "I'll make sure to get more than '-1' Sir!" He just glares at me and returns to the class. Lissa just looks at me and sighs heavily. She shakes her head and mutters something.

"You better be happy for now Liss...I may not be around for a while..." I think sadly

She looks at my expression and becomes confused. Shit! Do I look sad. I quickly bring on a smirk and mouth, "watch this." Her eyes become wide.

Let's just say I got detention...

We went back to the car. I immediately became conscious of everything. I told Lissa to go on and let me take care of something.

I dial my phone to security. I tell them to hold a meeting urgently. I was leaving in three minutes.

We have made a mechanism for urgent meetings. We all gathered around.

"I believe you all know of the attack between the university and court."

They all nodded.

"I need you all to keep your guard up. Not that you aren't but I am dead serious right now. I am the one taking care of her when we go and come. So, if anything happens to me...anything can happen. Are we clear."

"Yes Guardian Belikov." They all say.

I nod and go back on my way to the car. Lissa is waiting for me anxiously, wondering why I took so long. I looked at the time and saw I took seven minutes.

"You took so long. Where were you?" Lissa asked

"Sorry your majesty." I said with a wink, "but I had been caught up in a urgent meeting to discuss the attack with security here."

She looks at me with a smile. She didn't say anything. YES!!! I am getting the hang of this thing.

We are on our way when again I see something moving fast. I scream louder this time, "STOP!!! STOP THE CAR NOW!!!"

Everyone, even the guardians jump so badly.

I get out hurriedly and scream, "LISS, STAY IN THE CAR NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!!! GOT IT!?!?"

Everyone looks at me like I am crazy. "You guys don't know half of it..." I thought.

"Ethan and Smith, stay her with her no matter what. Four guardians go North, four go West, I am going East!" I bark the orders.

No one has time to even think that I am going alone. They just obey and go on their ways while Ethan and Smith are forming a plan for escape.

I take one look at Liss and walked to my future...

Haha!!! You guys thought I was gonna stop here!!! Nope! I have got an even more worse cliffhanger for you!!!

I approach the area slowly and keep my senses on high alert. My adrenaline is running really high. I chose this area because I know he is here.

I hear screaming on my right where the guardians had went. Shit!!! He's got more this time. I hurriedly look around, hoping I am not caught off hold again.

"I know you're here. Get out!" I scream

He comes out of nowhere. "Well well well. What do we have here? Rose coming to her death. Of course that's not new is it?" He says smirking

I have a really bad feeling that smirk isn't only for taunting...

"Stop this! Stop your friends right now!" I scream with soo much anger.

He knows he has caught me where he wanted. He knows now I will accept whatever it is he will say......sad thing is......he is right...

He laughs harshly. "Hmmmm, now why would I do that?"

"Because I said so you A*whole!!!" Damn he is really getting to me now.

I don't know how he signals it but suddenly the screaming stops and turns into pride sounds. The Strigoi have fled.

"Now that they are gone, I think we can discuss what we wanted to right?"

"Oh I am here to hear it on one condition."

"What might that be?" He says mockingly

"I leave right now and I reach home safely. I will come to you myself but, you will not enter the 50 mile radius near the court. You wanted me and I am coming. If I don't, you can attack tomorrow." I say face neutral

He thinks a little. Finally he says, "Well, all I needed was you...okay but it will be only a 30 mile radius. Take it or leave it."

"Fine" I sigh heavily. The weight has been lifted. My friends are safe so I need not to worry about them...now all that was left was...me.

"Now, our plans, you will get out of court by three am. Fail to do so, and we attack the next day. You will come to the abandoned factory 60 miles away from the university."

I just nodded.

"Also, you will leave no evidence of where you are, including your household and mobile. AND that earpiece. Also to make things interesting, I need that ring gone and left back at court or I will break it into pieces along with your friends."

"BULLSHIT!!!" I spat

I couldn't do that to Dimitri. I just couldn't. He would be heart broken.

"Yes you will. All I am allowing is a letter. And if I find out you told about your whereabouts, well you won't see a flesh of your friends." He said angrily

I just stood there. Fighting the inner battle. I...I couldn't do that. Going away and having nothing to remind me of them. Especially my...my ring. It would be too empty.

ROSE remember...this IS to protect them!!!

"Ok." Was all I said.

He brought up a very wide smirk. "Good. Oh and Good luck btw." I heard someone calling him Festus. And like that he vanished before I said anything else.

Why Jolly Whyyyyyyy!!!! *falls on the ground sobbing* <Sorry if that's what you're doing right now...NOT!!!!!!! Hey!!! I am so sad to bring you this news but...no updating next week!!!! BUT BUT but, I will update after two weeks with two chapters!!! Don't worry I will send it in two different thingys. Thx ya'll!!!
