17. Ending It

The hour went by slowly. Louis kept thinking of things to say. When the doorbell rings he jumps up. He opens the door and sees Eleanor standing there.
"Hey, come in," he says and he takes a step to the side.
"Is Harry here?" She asks.
"No. Why?"
She shrugs. "I thought he would be here."
"I haven't seen him in a month."
"Okay."
They walk over to the living room and sit down.

There is a moment of silence before Louis speaks. "How have you been doing?"
"I got death threats, people kept asking me about you, they tell me to fuck off and keep telling me you're gay. So how have I been doing? Pretty bad."
He looks down. "I am sorry to hear that."
"It's fine. Your manager helped me when you were gone."
He nods. "Okay. That's good."
She shrugs. "This whole situation wouldn't have happened if you didn't cheat on me with a guy."
Louis nods again and doesn't know what to say. He didn't expect that. But it is true. He did cheat on her.

"Let's just call your manager so we can make it public. I am sure I'll get even more hate but it's better than this shit now," Eleanor says and she lights up a cigarette.
"Sure." Louis grabs his phone and calls his manager. He tells them they can come in right now so they leave right away and drive in separate cars there.
When they are there Louis is happy no paparazzi are waiting outside.
They wait in the waiting room before they get called in and then go in.

"Welcome Louis and Eleanor," his manager greets them.
"Can we make it quick? I have somewhere to go," Eleanor says.
"Sure. I think you two can delete all the pictures of you two together and I will write a statement for Louis to post online," Louis' manager says.
Without saying a word they both go online and delete every picture of them together. Louis then unfollowed her on social media. He also deletes some tweets towards her.
When they're done Louis needs to post a statement on his story about it and then they can go.
It was about how it didn't have to do with the previous event and they both made the decision to split up and how they will remain friends.

After that Eleanor can go but Louis needs to stay. "I watched your live last night," he says.
"Okay." Louis gets nervous because he doesn't know if he said something wrong.
"I am proud of you for not saying much. Did you figure things out?"
"Oh- Eh... Yeah. I did, actually." He nervously plays with his hands.
"And?"
Louis shrugs. "Well, first of all, I'm bisexual." He looks at his manager. "And I sorted my thoughts. Got to deal with what happened. Loving myself again. And spending time with my family which I missed."
"That's good to hear."
"Yeah. It is. I am probably going to meet up with Harry again soon to sort things out with him."
"What kind of thing?"
"Things we shouldn't do." He grins at his manager. His manager doesn't like that answer.
"Do you like him?"
"I don't know," Louis says. "Probably," he says softly. He checks the time. "But I got to go." He gets up and with that, he leaves.

He doesn't need to go anywhere. He just liked to piss his manager off a bit and keep him thinking.
He gets in his car and decides to go to a store to grab some groceries and a new pack of cigarettes. He meets some fans and takes photos with them.
"Are you okay? Just read about the breakup," one of them asks.
"It's tough. But I will get through it," Louis says and he smiles weakly. "Thanks for asking."
He checks his phone and sees both Harry and his manager texted him. So he says goodbye to the fans and gets in his car.

He decides to ignore the text from his manager and read Harry his text.
'Hey! I saw your insta post.. need someone to talk to? Niall, Liam, Zayn and I are hanging out tonight if you want you can join :) - H'
He thinks for a second before replying to Harry. 'Yeah I will join if everyone wants me to be there'
He puts his phone down and drives back to his place. When he's there, he rechecks his phone, and friends reached out to him for their support through the breakup. Some even want to hang out with him to see how he is doing.
Harry texted him back he can join them any time he wants and then tell him they will meet at Liam his place at 7 PM.

Louis lays down on the couch and texts Harry back if they can meet up before that so he can catch him up about what happened. To which Harry agrees. He invites him over for dinner.
Louis accepts that offer happily.
So they decide to meet up at 5 at Harry's place.
It's 1 PM right now so Louis makes some lunch and eats it as he starts to watch a show on Netflix with his other friends who he invited over.
