-----------------------------------------------------

I parked my car in the parking lot of the mall. Obviously I'll be able to find all that I need in a mall, so I thought "Why not?".

I got out my car and made sure to lock it before making my way to the entrance of the huge building. I quickly checked to make sure I had my wallet with me as I did so. Once in I stopped to think. "Where do I want to go first?"

I thought for a moment, stepping to the side so I wasn't in the way of anyone. After thinking for so long I decided to go to a hybrid store. Just to pick up some things. I didn't want to buy too much as I thought it'd be best for the hybrid to pick out the things they wanted or thought they needed. I entered the shop and took a quick look around before walking to the counter.

I wanted to ask what kind of suppressants would be best for  my soon to be hybrid. When I got to the counter I noticed it was an old man running it. I just hoped he was nice. "Hello, sir?" I called out to get his attention. He looked up from what he was doing as his eyes landed on me. He smiled kindly at me, waiting for me to continue.

"I was wondering what kind of suppressants would be best for a male hybrid?" I asked him. It would be best to know what I'm buy and giving my hybrid, than to just buy it and it ending up being the worst. "Ah well follow me and I'll point some out for you to choose from." He answered me before walking from behind the counter and making his was way to the back of the store. "This way!" The older man called out cheerfully as he made his was over to the back. I shrugged and followed him.

"So this one is completely organic, it's safe for the hybrid and it won't leave any odd taste on their pallet. It also won't upset their stomach." He handed the box to me for me to have a look for myself. I liked the idea of it not harming the hybrid in any way, it sounded good to me. But I didn't want to buy this one with out hearing what other ones there are.

"This one won't harm hybrid's either. Though it does have an off and bitter taste, it does last longer. You would only have to give your hybrid one a day. As for others you would have to give them three a day with every meal." He explained the second one to me as he handed that one to me as well.

"And this one this sort of like the other two put together. But it does upset the stomach, not too badly but your hybrid probably won't eat after taking it, for about a good two hours or so." He explained and handed it over to you. He didn't seem to like the idea of making the hybrid sick, and quite frankly I didn't either, so I handed it back over.

"I think I'll try these two and I'll see which ones they look more. Thank you for your help" I smiled. Grateful that he helped me find safe suppressants. He smiled back. "You're welcome young lady!" He chirped happily. "Is there anything else I can help you find?" He asked me kindly again.

"Collars?" I asked. I didn't like the idea of collars, but seeing as I wasn't sure when there will be a new way to show your hybrid has a home I had to go with a collar. The old man nodded, heading to a different part of the store where the collars are.

The old man and I looked at them for a moment. Before he reached up and pulled one down to me. "How about this one?" He asked me as he handed me a collar. One I didn't even notice but I wish I did.

It was the perfect collar. On the side that would go on the hybrids neck was covered in fur, meaning it would be soft and wouldn't hurt. On the outside of it was all soft leather. The leather was all white while the fur was all black. It was perfect. It wouldn't hurt the hybrid and it was soft. But I didn't want to buy it just yet. I wanted my hybrid to see it and have an opinion on it before I bought it.

So I decided to ask the old man a question. "Can you hold on to this for me?" The old man smiled at my question before giving a nod. "Of course I can. But can I ask why?" He asked me. I thought of to respond. But soon thought it was best to just tell the truth.

"Well I don't have my hybrid yet, but I decided to grab a few things before I do get one. And I want them to have their own opinion on the collar. I also want to get their name engraved on it." I looked back up to the man to see him smiling wider than he was before. Almost seeming excited. "That sounds great! You're going to make a great owner. I'll hold this for you behind the counter. When you get your hybrid just come back in and we'll get it engraved with their name." He told me as he made his was back to the counter with me following behind him again.

He put the collar in a small light pink box that fit it in perfectly. "Can I have your name so I can put a note on it?" He asked. I nodded. "My name is Y/n L/n." I told with a smile. He wrote it down before putting it under the counter in a safe place.

Once that was done I put the suppressants down for him to scan so I could buy them. I paid and the old man put them in a bag with the stores logo and name on it. "Thank you!" I told him with a smile and he smiled back. "You're welcome! Can't wait to see you again soon, have a nice day!" With that I was making my way out the store and soon to my car.

Even though I went to the mall to buy things for the room, in the end I thought it was best to wait and just buy some suppressants instead. I didn't want to decorate the room to my taste or buy things I thought looked nice, I wanted my hybrid to pick things out for themselves and to what they liked.

(I had to rewrite this cause I didn't like it at first. So I went for a different idea for this chapter. I hope you like it 😊)
